no man it is very easy! we need the following things not nessecerilly in order ,
1] shit load of money
2] shit load of time
3] some hardocre knowledge
4] some killer workshop with latest and greatest tools for latest and greatest design idea.
5] good source for raw material
6] willpower [aka nuts]

watching episodes of american chopper is not a deciding criteria though!

If rumours are to be believed, the Pulsar range ends with the final 220 edition.

And a new range of bikes will be introduced by Bajaj.
That is why these Bajaj people are going out full on with their remaining options.The so called upgrades to win customers.It is because of FZ that Bajaj is already blackening out engines and blah blah....

If the sales of Bajaj Pulsar 180,200,220 continue to fall,we will see the new Bajaj[KTM] bikes sooner! :

Please guys! Buy Yamaha FZs buy the truckloads!!!!!!

Not if the 125 has 20 PS and weighs only 110 kgs !! We might have too many bikes of a particular displacement but a new one can always position itself in a new segment !! A la R15 !!

The pulsar engine block can be bored out to a max of 220 ccs only, so there might not be higher displacement of the pulsar range, but the brand name of the pulsars is to potent to be ignored. The bikes might be totally changed, but i believe the pulsar monikor is there to stay !!

I agree. But the disappointment for new model 200s and 220s was the tank.People complaining about flat tank. Now if they change the tank, why would it be called a Pulsar? Since the Pulsar name is synonymous with the typical tank.
Similarly a new platform is must for Bajaj to really grow out of Pulsar!

Damn, isn't it enough time guys?? We should have had them by now. By Feb 2010, they will be "unveiled". and then we will wait for 6 more months for release...

I'm seriously missing some Yamaha Action. Wish they come back with practical explosives, like an India manufactured FZ6...

The two companies have been working on the development of 125cc and 250cc motorcycles following an agreement in November 2007. Both bikes will be powered by liquid-cooled four-stroke engines.

There goes my 2 Stroke dreams ... Why KTM?
