True . P200/220 Upgrades were to happen in Jan/feb , but Fz 16 forced bajaj to upgrade p150/180 . Now in May/june maybe the 200 or 220 will gets its long awaited upgrades . then comes nov/dec ,Companies usully dont launch products at end of year so Ninja will be launched next year only

My own feeling is, we'll see a slew of 250s from the Japanese companies, Yamaha, Honda and Suzuki. The market is too ripe for them to not take advantage anymore. The Ninja generated a lot of interest and it fizzed out due to whatever reasons. The other companies would've surely taken note of this.

Maybe Suzuki will be first off the block, followed by Yamaha. I hope Yamaha gives us 250s in both the FZ and the R series bikes. Wishful thinking, but I'd snap both of them up in a hurry.

Ok.. Time for me to speculate ....


1. Cycle manufacturer BSA-SLR come into bikes market in collaboration with BSA to launch a 250cc and a 600cc bike.

2. Pulsar 600 Dtsi-fi-ki-mi launch for diwali 2009

3. KTM with draws its stake from bajaj and joins hero honda to get more colorful bikes into market

4. Suzuki does nothing in 2009, 2010, 2011 ....... 2099. It still observes the market situation here in india and would be hell busy in thinking waht bike to launch first...

5. Yamaha ?? Well lets talk about something else...
