The R6 bit is not my speculation Dada, it is my joke on someone else's speculation.
@shaggy25: I cannot afford a litre class bike.
To be honest, I am hoping for the R15 performance kit&Ninja 250 to be launched, so that I can take my pick. Which is the reason for my being in this thread.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Coming back to the FZ25 idea.
I was saying it could be developed from the mill of that European 225. The R15's mill has been developed with help from the R125 motor. But R125 costs waaay more. Its physically a 600cc bike without the engine as you know.Originally posted by ken cool View PostIt has been priced at €4000 in West Europe from what I remember. Which is well over INR2.5L.
Why not a 250 motor based on the 225 motor? Bike will be desi though with conservative sizing, if you can call FZ styling that! Just speculating.

Ken, are you referring to the Fazer 250 here (2.5 lakh)Originally posted by ken cool View PostHave a look at it. Single mill 21bhp, I will NOT pay INR 2.5L for this!
COz i m referring to the Scorpio's engine which Yamaha can probably plonk into the FZ. Even if the bigger engine demands an extra 6-8000, the FZ225 will be a great value for money in my opinionAll new Royal Enfield 'Tripping' ads here -->www.bhp-india.blogspot.com

I m saying ! You are just awesome man ! You make it sound easier than making a 'Fruit salad' , YAMAHA should hire your ideas.Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostHow about using the same R125 engine,
Since R125 gives some 15 bhp, the 250 may be tuned to give some 30 bhp @ higher revs, on some crankshaft change, etc ... Crankshaft change would be necessary anyways, as this time it's 2 cylinders.
What do you say guys?
p.s: I just love your posts man , awesome fun .BAYLISSTIC !!!!
