  • @ Xeno: Have You Seen The TVS NEO 110cc Step-Thru Scoot For Indonesia,Well They Tested That In Tamilnadu,While Looking @ The Honda Scoot They Might Imported For Testing Here, I Think The Honda Scoot Is The King In That Segment In Indonesia,They Are Comparing For A Indian Scoot & Jap Scoot For Milage & other Stuff, Don't Worry Honda Won't Come With That Type Of Bike In India

    • yes i know about the NEO .. its like a mash up of bike + scooty.... bajaj also tried with the "Byk" and failed..

but this CS1 is not like the NEO is it ? it looks more like a puny bike.

anyhow santooosh saar also saw the Cs1 being tested by tvs guys ... so let's see what are they going to do with it.. :|

      • Ah I think that this CS1 rider is a professional tester who might be involved wid da TVS Neo project and has been contracted for taking the CS1 'out for a breeze'.Neo is a champion step thru and the rider's expertise is being used to impart it to the CS1.I have doubts that this is gonna make it to India and is undergoing tests afore Indonesian punch to beat Suzuki's Raider 125 and ShogunR.

          • Suzuki CKDs 400-600?

Had been to the IBAYS Suzuki showroom on Saturday to see the black Hayabusa. On enquiring about the homologation applied for by Suzuki in beginning of this year (for assembling of CKDs 400-600cc), he said they have received all the approvals&would have launched the Gixxer600, but launched the Hayabusa since Yam has launched their flagship R1. He seems pretty confident that by October we can see a Gixxer600!

No my dear, its gonna be a FZ16-165Fi.The Glad 165 engine has been tested on the FZ16,the engine's an Fi.See the technic in the name FZ16-its gonna round both 153cc and 165cc engines(16 means around 160cc).R15 just needs the other ECU and at 23hp it would be the fastest of the premiums reworked whatsover.

Wishful thinking! But the following 3 are expected from Yamaha in 2009:
                      1. Gearless scooter
                      2. 125 cc bike
                      3. 100cc bread&butter bike.

No revamps to either of the 150s.

Someone claiming to be an insider said that it was tested but then they found it was not so powerful. It felt like an RTR only ...

So, the technicians are busy again on making the Apache as powerful as expected by people.

That's so, If you believe this so called "insider"...

                          • I hope Yamaha launches something like a T Max. the 500cc version would be awesome but if not that, at least the 250cc version. Yamaha : you may be surprised by this untapped market for sporty scooters. The only good ones we have now are the Kinetic Flyte (too small and feminine) and the Suzuki Access (which is something my uncles would ride..too conservative). Dio looks great but doesnt have the goodies to match. The Aviator is just an Activa with better braking and suspension. What we really need is something that looks great, goes like stink and handles like a motorcycle (almost). The closest thing that comes is the Yamaha T Max. I'm sure Yamaha is reading this..you know what to do...

I'm not a Yamaha insider, but that is the 'inside' news...unfortunately.
