2009 Speculation thread: What bikes could be launched?

why doesn't someone lock this topic so that we don't get bored by the tons and tons of speculations coming our way. I think we might focus on something better rather than speculating and contemplating as to who will launch what, where and when!!!!

I myself have been waiting and reading speculations about the Ninja everyday on the net but now it seems useless as I don't have the patience now. Come january and I might buy another bike rather than speculating and waiting etc.

This thread has been made specifically for speculation so that speculation need not happen on other threads. So let it be and let people speculate as much as they want to......

here's some news today on the 1st of Jan 2009. It seems that Bajaj won't launch Ninja this month, but probably a 125cc 'Sport commuter'.

i read in bike india bajaj is already testing ninja in its chakan plant yeye i hope they price it good

bike india is old news. any other news?? because from what i read on the net today, it seems to be either Xcd sprint 150 or another 125. no concrete info on anything yet, i wonder why are the manufacturers are playing secret games!!!!

TVS recently did some endurance testing of the alpha prototype of rtr menace. Sad part is that the bike's power wasn't all that meancing. The test riders quoted its power to be similar to an rtr 160. Based on the feedback, the company technicians are working on the bike again. Looks like we are a good 3 months away from the launch.

folks, seems we will have to wait 3-4 months for the ninjas and ktm dukes from bajaj to be launched. just sit back and relax with your present machines. no scope for any new exciting ones yet!!
