i had a chat with the RM Sales (North) of Bajaj Auto Ltd. today. He said the ninja is expected (mark the word 'expected') not before March - April and there are no price details available.

The RM and the AM etc etc are just keeping the hopes alive..nobod has a clue as to whats happening. I had spoken to the Manager-Sales for India at Pune and he had told me Ninja would be out by Jan-Feb..no signs..as yet.!!

If what someone here was saying is true, I'll wait for the first 600 CBUs to be sold out, then its price to come down with localization to around 1.6 lakhs! It seems possible, coz thats what they did with the Eliminator too. I have an R15, so can afford to wait! Just hope Bajaj would reveal some info though.

scoop pics while returning from chennai today afternoon this was being ridden near vaniambadi (speeds of 70-80-90 kmph) two of them in the same colour

the bike as expected from honda is super refined , its too silent and they went "whoosh" when i was attending a call @50kmph .. i cut the call and chased these two and took the pics

125cc, 13hp , Liquid cooled, mono suspension, rear disk, dual headlights .. semi faired.
its a conservative but a nice package. and will be a good touring bike since i didnt hear it being stressed at all at those speeds.

13 BHP and 80 - 90 KMPH without being stressed!!

and ignition on top of side fairing!

EDIT: yeah could be a good tourer.. seat looks comfy.. looks more of a scoterette (bike+scooter hybrid?)
