2009 Speculation thread: What bikes could be launched?

Anyways, my 2 cents : Suzuki wont be the first. For sure.

Ok.. Time for me to speculate ....


1. Cycle manufacturer BSA-SLR come into bikes market in collaboration with BSA to launch a 250cc and a 600cc bike.

If the chick promoting BSA nowadays continues to promote the 250 and 600, then I'll pay in advance right now

Ok.. Time for me to speculate ....


1. Cycle manufacturer BSA-SLR come into bikes market in collaboration with BSA to launch a 250cc and a 600cc bike.

2. Pulsar 600 Dtsi-fi-ki-mi launch for diwali 2009

3. KTM with draws its stake from bajaj and joins hero honda to get more colorful bikes into market

4. Suzuki does nothing in 2009, 2010, 2011 ....... 2099. It still observes the market situation here in india and would be hell busy in thinking waht bike to launch first...

5. Yamaha ?? Well lets talk about something else...

2. Pulsar 600 Dtsi-fi-ki-mi launch for diwali 2009

A 600 from Bajaj this easily? Naa.. before P600, bikes like P250, P280, P320, P360, P400, P420, P460, P520 etc should be launched in the market - after all it is a question of getting the market "ready" for larger capacity bikes! Also other "innovations" like quad spark plugs, dual exhaust-tech etc needs to be patented, advertised and finally the patents defended in the court - preferably from other Indian bike companies. So, its a long, long way to go!!!

hey sad news for all those people includin me who are awaiting the launch of the ninja..
My friend went to the bajaj showroom .. thats situated in thane. he asked the dealer about the ninja. the dealer replied back saying its going to take another 5-6 months for it to launch.. in the mean while we are going to be launching the new 2009 series of pulsars on 15th may

ive sold my 150 dtsi almost a year back.. and since then theres no bike that would suit my requirement... now this news.. sumone should atleast come out with a decent 250 ya.. its high time.. and if bajaj is not launching it now then why do they need to create a un-necssary hype amngst people.. and try influencing thier decission by making them wait for months n years.. i dont know whats goin onn with yamaha suzuki and honda.. they dont even need to develop a 250cc they allready have them.. but why arnt they launching it.. all of these companies hav decent commuter oriented bikes.. but what about perfomance oriented bikes.. we just have 2 bikes that are close to a 250cc segment the zma and 220.. ive stoped expecting any thing frm HH they are only having R&D for new colours graphics and stickers.. and bajaj the dont have any exclusivity with thier products..neither do they have refined n smooth engines.. only reason for the zma to still be selling is people who want refinement smoothness comfort go ahead wid the decission of the zma.. and HH think they r doing wonders with the zma.

I hope by the time Ninja finally gets launched, Yamaha gets an ace out of their sleeve. That would be a nice blow to Bajaj!

thats exactly what im talking about .. you rememba.. honda started promotion for thier much awaited unicorn (be a wind rider) the promotion was on air for months.. but the launch was far away.. just week before the launch of the unicorn.. bajaj came out with the pulsar dtsi.. and bang it worked most of the people includiing me went for the pulsar..

now bajaj has created the hype for the ninja.. now incases if sum other company launches a 250 people would definately go ahead and purchase it .. thts how they got to take advantage of the hype created by bajaj.. its very simple ya.. ders a huge demand in the market but theres no supply at all.. so if any 1 comes out with a decent 250cc every one would go ahead and purchase it..

optimism to support you further the new Mahindra Kinetic website still lists Comet & Aquila and say Aquila is no more available... but nothing like that to Comet...

Looks like pro biking guy's don't have any official info about ninja because everybody telling a new story i also went to showroom in Bhandup Mumbai (LBS Road) & the showroom guy told me (Our MD Mr.Bajaj in press conference told it will be launch in first week of May but if it's delay becouse of some reason max to max it will launch in last week of May but in May bike will launch surely )

Looks like pro biking guy's don't have any official info about ninja because everybody telling a new story i also went to showroom in Bhandup Mumbai (LBS Road) & the showroom guy told me (Our MD Mr.Bajaj in press conference told it will be launch in first week of May but if it's delay becouse of some reason max to max it will launch in last week of May but in May bike will launch surely )
