The Yamaha DNA things were being told in 2008, not now.... the only rumours running down the mill is
1) An R25,
2) The FZ1000

Although the point 2 seems very probable and a cheaper option to the one!

I agree, there are rumors of Yamaha R250 or 25 whatever&also Suzuki launching a Gixxer 250&also a mini Gixxer 125cc. But these are purely rumors. No one at either of the showrooms even talks about these. However, TVS has been talking about 180&200 since sometime.

Lol yeah, I also thought the XCD Sprint headlamp has too much of a resemblance to the FZ.
Only 2 worth watching out from Bajaj for are the P200Fi&P220 revamped.

Yamaha R25... I dunno how far it would be possible to get it to India. As of now Yamaha do not have this bike on sale anywhere... there were contemplating making this bike for the US market to take on the Baby Ninja... Now, they'd have got the bike made but makign it for teh US market and launching it in Indian market are two very very different things.

Moreover, why would they want to kill their R15 that is selling really well??? considering the fact that the R15 is made for India, Yamaha has spent a lot of money on that and would need a good ROI. There are more things that come into my mind that push the thought of R25 in India away...

BTW, would like to see a Comet kind of a bike... hmmm.... FZ25???

Well, we have been hearing news from confirmed sources, but to no avail. We have been waiting for the ninja for an year or maybe more now. Any solid proof on what could be coming our way??
