2009 Speculation thread: What bikes could be launched?

^^^ Moreover, it should be relatively easy for HOnda to bring its own 250cc bike in India than Bajaj to bring the Kawasaki Ninja. Right?

Bajaj has a JV with Kawasaki, and HMSI is a wholly owned subsidiary of Honda, so I believe the process will not be very different.

But the main question is, will Honda want to do that ? They keep looking heavenwards and insist on selling only commuter bikes (albeit very good commuter bikes) in India !

Sukant, i don't think so that any of the 250cc(s) would be launched here in India in the near future..after seeing the progress of the Ninja.. !!

This news has been doing rounds since the last auto expo(where we 1st heard abt the Ninja), but still no concrete news from Bajaj..! So, i guess that solves your query abt its launch or not..!

Why doesnt a 350 or 500CC Bullet fascinate you?
but still why does a 160 CC RTR or a 150 CC R15 impress you?

Or would you buy a 150 CC Honda CBR150 tuned to deliver 24PS?
Is it really a rat race for CC ?

There are different types of ppl around you..!! Some are sports bike crazy and some are RE crazy..ok..its all about taste..

Secondly, coming to your point of Ninja..they said they are launching 250cc with 33bhp...thats why all the talks were going on so much...on the other hand if they would have said that they would be launching 250cc with 15bhp, then i can BET no one would have talked abt it also..
