        Seems like you got a fake brother, this is the only reason I went for MT and got it a couple of days back. Check out the plastic quality of fitting like vents and all, you'll notice that they are of cheap plastic.

        And about the dot and ece certification, I think it should be printed like my MT helmet has. Though my helmet has stickers too for size, weight and quantity check, but it's the printed certification which matters.

          Sticker is permitted for ECE certification.
          It may not have dot sticker, coz it may not be a dot certified one. Dont worry, if its purchased from official dealer, its original.

            I have seen that ls2's same models sold in other countries are expensive than India, and they aren't made in India. I almost purchased ls2 ff324 metro evo but this thing made me suspecious about it and finally I went for MT atom just for the peace of mind.

                Guys, can you tell me if Custom Elements (https://www.customelements.in) sell original LS2 helmets. The official LS2 India website (https://ls2helmetsindia.com/) has only few models in Modular type.

                But CE has a few more options, also the price is slightly lower. The important thing is that CE has a flexible return policy. But in the official website of LS2, they offer only replacement which is a big drawback.

                  No worries. Laxmi Automobiles, Pune are the official importers of LS2 helmets in India. You can also buy from their official website - https://ls2helmetsindia.com/.

                    Really informative thread. Loads of effort and research put in.

                    As there is a debate on validity of the ece certification, please check the following link:

                    It states that every ece certified helmet should have a tag stitched to its chinstrap on the inside mentioning the homologation country and other details.
                    As long as your certified helmet has it, there should not be a question regarding genuinity of the certification.

                        The first one is probably the original LS2 website. It was first registered in 2007. If you look at the contact section (https://ls2helmets.com/in/support.php) it lists Laxmi automobiles.

                        The second one seems to belong to the Indian counterpart as it is registered to "LAXMI AUTOMOBILES" in Nana Peth, Pune..

                        I think both are legitimate websites.
