If we are thinking something like a sturgis/IBW kind of setup (hundreds of people+events) we will need to plan for hopefully hundreds of bikers from different states. This in itself is a logistical nightmare and would require co-ordination with local authorities apart from dedicated parking space/living space. This can only be driven by sponsorship and some level of full time effort by some folks. The reason an exotic location (with August being an off-season) makes sense is that there will be lots of hotels easily available plus it gives an added attraction for people coming from distant places to ride around. I am still skeptical about Nagpur

3 days of holidays coupled with 4 days of leaves (in some places it might be lesser due to various regional festivals around the same time) will give 9 days in all. SBKs add another dimension to this. They put up the event on a pedestal and everyone does take notice.
If a hundred bikers can co-ordinate effectively amongst themselves in the interstate G2Gs, then a 'brotherhood' ride kind of thing can work too for sure. But, it would be entirely different from a sturgis/IBW kind of setup.
What would I prefer -- a brotherhood kind of ride - but a better destination! Oh yes, I need to be filled in with the Cheetah episode!
Edit: princesirohi I think I have partially covered your points too. Its all about the kind of structure we have. My personal vision would be - camping somewhere near pune on a rainy weekend. I am very partial towards pune!

. Keeping myself glued to this thread for progress and planning.
