Vow.. cant believe this is actually happening..
My vote would be to Maharashtra, MP, Daman. Though some or the other members will have to cover a real long distance or extremely short. So lets decide a destination merely on an ideal place were this kind of gtg can be arranged.
I would love to attend this kind of gtg of the ENTIRE forum which we have been part of for years.

For me the location should be Nagpur or some place in MP. logic??? Its should be central to all of India .

We down in South have organized meets amongs neighbouring states for some years and those who had been on planning would vouch the fact that this PAN India meet involves more discussions and planning. I welcome this initiative and strength that I could imagine even possibly considrate from each state touches easily 3 digits. This would be one event where riders could get to meet across borders and put a face a behind their handle.

Road map to planning such meet:-

1. First we need to divide the geographical location into zones so it helps in devising the strategy
2. Identify the rep/SPOC who could be part of organizing board
3. Decide on a month ideal to weather conditions across states - I can think of Jan-Feb even March to an extent.
4. This kind of meet needs months of preparation and also helps getting good numbers.
5. Think of a state where it is ideal to all.
6. Sponsorship can be looked into once we have a plan ideally accepted by PAN India.

My Vote to Maharashtra and NCR (just in case people want to come here :P ). I would prefer Maharashtra and MP as being centrally situated, it would be easily accessible from other parts. And I am sure there must be some good places there too.
Over it, I guess sponsorship would be required to make it a grand success.

Suggestion : Mods can we have the polls open soon for the destination and then the dates . Or to drill down the initial hurdle how about keeping polls for state where this AIg2g can be held and depending on the poll results we can work on the best destinations ..

Do it here in nagpur. its a good place, roads are very good, is at geographical centre of india. also nice places to visit nearby... recently kawasaki all india meet was held here in nagpur and was successful.
biking scene here in nagpur will get a big boost up...we already have superbikers group and are very active....

aila, when did i vote in this thread....?its good the thread is moving.coming to location, i believe that location should be a nice, beautiful, scenic & fun place. so, i will say rule out Delhi, Noida & Others should be ruled out.Goa, Maharashtra and Karnataka remains.to get enough number of volunteers it should be in a state, which has been organising ISG2G's successfully since last few years. i suggest Goa should be OK.to make this a grand success, i request mods [MENTION=7123]sunilg[/MENTION] to send an e-mail to every xbhp member, to get maximum participation, coz we need to wake up some dormant members.some places in north-east can also be added to the poll.

aren't we going around in circles? how do we finalize the location of the pan India G2G? I suggest we have a re-poll with specific locations and then decide upon the location. I know that it is not possible to make everyone happy but there should be a start somewhere.

In Maharashtra there are only a few places to have a G2G. We can have it in the outskirts of Pune, or somewhere in the Konkan region which is hyper scenic or Nagpur can also be considered. We can rule out Mumbai as the expenses would be way too high...
If cost is not much a problem, we can have it in Bandra-Kurla Complex' exhibition grounds. Its quite a big place and the roads leading to the place are also OK.

considering maharashtra , Konkan circuit is the most senic circuit and can break down to goa . considering cheaper accomodation , tourist destination and a recent IBW held in goa so people would be familiar and could be a crown puller as [MENTION=11584]Mik[/MENTION] suggested in his earlier posts ...
