These are my personal thoughts which am expressing here.

If Feb 2015 seems good, then let us finalize on Feb 2015 and plan accordingly.

Regarding Goa, am goan and love goa, but it is terribly overdone for biking events. It is like Leh to motorcycle rides. Over Hyped.

I was thinking more along the coast of Maharashtra or the jungles of central india. Different from the conventional.

And as Prince said this is not an event that we are showcasing to anybody. We do not have any point to prove. This will be a coming together of xBhpians to strengthen the bond of biking that holds us together across the length and breadth of the country.

If there is sufficient interest we can also try and arrange for bikes to be shipped down for guys coming from really far off places.

It entirely depends on the number of people interested in coming for the G2G.

Sponsors have both good and bad sides to it. It will help bring down costs for the guys attending the g2g, at the same time any company would extract their pound of flesh for monies given.

Let us decide now and have state coordinators to make life easier for all.

Coatal Maharashtra is overdone for Maharashtra riders as well, I would prefer Jungles of Central India, Madhyapradesh could be an option as well.

Let us not dilute the meet by having sponsors, it would be better if we do it on our own, camping is a great suggestion.

In Madhya Pradesh, Panchmarhi is a good spot, it's a hill station. Or rather in satpura jungle is also good option.

In Maharashtra, chikkhaldara or Tadoba tiger reservoir/Nagzira jungle are good options.

How would be Lonar crater near Aurangabad as an option? Very interesting place, google it and you will know. I think there is an MTDC resort with ample parking.

Commenting after a long time.
Well as many intellectuals have given their superb onus comments, lets make it clear about regarding the dates or that part of the year when this should be conducted.
Lets stick to Feb'2015 and materialize things from now onwards.

After recently conducted ISG2G of MH-KA-GJ-AP I would suggest, to keep the place where:
1)Riders get ample amount of time to ride.
2)Good place to lay back
3)Good food.

Other entertainments can be arranged anywhere anytime. But these things are which are basic and foremost requirements expected by everyone.
And from all these, destination is most important.
From the trend of votes going on its clear picture that Goa is winning from a larger margin and with such difference it may be the destination.
But is it really worthy to visit Goa, that too when seeing the statistics by [MENTION=15693]princesirohi[/MENTION] that we may expect 60+/- riders.

Goa has got a taboo of place where you just sit and enjoy the cheap beer/alcohol.
I know many may get offended by this but this is the scenario.

But is AIG2G is all about this??? Naah I dont think so. Its good to sit enjoy and remember and share god old times, but yes the Craze of Goa always makes us to just sit and drink and leisure around.

Moreover in G2Gs we also like to ride along with the whole pack to the nearby places and see the wonderful natural/artificial beauties. But In Goa you will get sea beaches where you cant ride, narrow and broad roads where movement of 60 bikers as a whole may be bit/more chaotic (considering already it is filled with tourists almost whole round the year) some light houses and what???

I would suggest better to go towards central India side like in central Maharashtra or MP.
In 2008 similar thing was planned and the venue was decided to be Tadoba and Pench and yes it can be a good option.
All can ride down there, enjoy the wildlife and even enjoy the atmosphere and biking brotherhood, away from cities of concretes and glamour. [MENTION=10454]MG[/MENTION] already entioned about it and he may also help out in finding locations to be visited and also we can good sponsors including companies which xBhp headoffice may also bring and even support from state/wildlife tourism.

Guess everyone can give it a double thought and go over it.
Lets close this chapter of finalizing with dates and venue by 1st/2nd week of August'14 and then go ahead with planning of theme, materializing logistics, accommodations, tshirts/merchandises, sponsors, route maps, spocs and all other necessary stuff.

PS: one request to all, please restrain from thinking or considering others to be a noob/amateur and please keep aside mentality of monotonous way of planning as "we have been doing this and that"; under the biking brotherhood all are same, everyone learns from each other.

Good idea bro. Plz consider some places which have lot of natural beauty, some curves to enjoy the ride, out of city traffic.

I think first every member should be notified about this plan, so that we know which states are actually participating and decide the location which is convenient for all participating members.

Ok, so feb 2015 is approximately fnalized as we will get ample time to plan and weather will be good around that time.

For destination, if guys think goa is not suitable and want some place central then vidarbha region (near nagpur) and M.P. are the options...in that case i propose pachmarhi in M.P. ...what u guys think.?

But we also have to see if there are sufficient members from that place to co-ordinate.

And yes...good food is must and this time somebody will go there to first check before booking.

Lonar is a nice place but fooding and lodging are not good as per the reviews on various travel forums. By the way its now on my trip list.

Panchmari being frequented by tourists would be good.

Tshirts and other memorabilia would be good but not necessary. Shouldn't be a detterent if we can't make them.

Riders can book bikes for bhopal, jabalpur or nagpur depending on convenience. Panchmari is approx 200 to 250 km from all these cities. Then they can ride to panchmari. Xbhpians from these cities can co-ordinate the meeting and suggest start point. Also update about road conditions can be given by the same. Others riders can join the group in these cities.

We all should reach the respective cities by friday morning and by afternoon we will be in panchmari.

Hotel bookings will have to be done online. Advance money can be deposited with one person.

Ps: beer will have to be replaced by rum.

Feb 2015 it is then. Location needs to be decided now. We are thinking Udaipur in Rajasthan on the border of Gujarat. Small city and it has a bit of everything. Can get camping as well as roof accomadation. The other option is Rann of Kutch but that will be a whole lot more painful.

For options in Maharashtra contact MG and whymail.

For options in MP beruiost would be the man to ask.

Let us finalize on destination asap.

Practical solution is :

Any central indian chapter of xBhp can take responsibility of hosting the event.

Hosting does not include financial burden but everything else.

February is alright.
