bhai not sure if planning something in sikkim would be a good idea, considering the fact that it would be 2000+kms for people of south to go to sikkim

Ain't it too early to start debate on location and distances, the idea has to be accepted first, local xbhp members should talk to each other, float the idea and try to get a feel of how many seriously want to do something like this considering that the ride will be 2 days one way for many and 2 days GTG so total of around 6 days.

The co-ordination is a big task, money collection, accomodation and food arrangements, enough parking, authority approvals if any. These tasks will have to be divided between the volunteers. Lets start somewhere and get the interested people together.

Guy how about something like what the bullet clubs do. I know we don't have a XBHP official chapter in each city but it could work.

What I am thinking is, say XBHPans from each city get together and make a pitch to have the meet at their city. Once a city is decided the guys from that city along with the XHBP seniors plan and organize.

This way we will be able to make it yearly and each year a city hosts the get together. I'm sure the turn out for the first year will be small with minimal events. However over time this can grow to a much larger event.

This looks like it's going to be epic G2G if it works out. Ofcourse, though we've had ISG2Gs before there could be few cons in the end but they can used as learning experience for the years to come. I'll spread the word across Kerala to all active xBhpians. :thumbup:

I know this might sound funny, but how about Leh?
Most of us keep it in our wish-list, some have been there. If as a Riding Group we can ride there, it will be really an achievement.

Tentative plan : Fix a date for everyone to reach Delhi. We ride together to Leh.

P.S I'm ready to catch the brick bats if anyone thinks it's a foolish suggestion...

Organize anywhere in India, I promise to pedal down there from my home in rural NE India. How about we involve other motorcycling websites like xKmph etc. A lot of people here are member on the other websites too I gather.

fair enough!! then how about starting something, right away! lets us confirm atleast two SPOCS from each chapter, it would easier to coordinate i believe. those SPOCS can also do a feasibilty check to see the pros and cons of that chapter riding all the way down to the location, though this will come at a later stage. even before the feasibility check, I believe it is important to start considerin the places (I agree to the fact that wherever the place is, some or the other chapter needs to do some hell of a ride to reach there), but there should be a start. I also think that we should extend the options in the poll and include more places in it.

It has been a dream for a lot of us to see something like this happen. There have been quite a few attempts but all died prematurely due to one reason or the other.

Personally, it has been my wish as well to have an all India xBhp G2G.

I think this is the right time. We all have matured enough to handle the complexities involved in arranging events like this. Particularly, the guys down south and also MH/GJ guys have held quite a few interstate G2Gs. So there's enough experience already on board to execute it.

All we need is more involvement from the riders who are willing to be a part of it. Not chasing numbers, but more participation would encourage the organizers to work harder and justify the tag of all India G2G.

If you need any "official involvement" from xBhp HQ here in Delhi, please accept this post of mine as one and consider me as the SPOC for it, though it is just a formality.

Also if we need to really pull it off, we need to first design a roadmap and set the targets, and then move on. Only discussion leads to confusion and no result often.

So how about deciding the location part first. The second target can be fixing the dates, and then we'll move forward from there. (All of this with consensus/voting).
