Got my duke back today, bill of 7000 bucks, out of which I had to pay 2129 bucks. Ktm guys were sure that I wouldn't have to pay more than the compulsory 100 bucks. Turns out fiber parts are only 50% covered at the last moment, after going to take delivery of the bikes. Some experience with Ktm sales and service

Yeah. At first svc guys told me bike's 100% covered, including fiber parts. Later turns out it was 50% on fiber. Replaced every scratch.

Got back my D200 a week ago and I had to pay the full bills initially and insurance claim would be credit to my account in a month ....said those guys at insurance office

Hello guys. I got a burgman around 9th January. And it was involved in an accident at 13th January. The vehicle wasn't even registered. So i gave it to showroom workshop for repairs. They said it'll be done under insurance.

My query is how long we can claim insurance before registering the vehicle. I had to register is with anothe RTO. Since the place i bought and where i live are different districts. So i got the CRTM papers when i visited the showroom for repairs.

They claimed insurance and estimate time would be at least 20-25 days.

So now i will have to register it once i get it back after repairs.

Even though it's under insurance, i am kinda worried for certain reasons. I got a call from showroom (not a workshop) they said you should start registration process since insurer company might be asked for registration papers.. What's the truth in it? Do i really need registration paper to claim insurance on barely 15 days old vehicle? What's the timeline?
