started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....
Planning for more dream destinations on a new ZMR

          • I recently went on a trip to Lavasa. Total around 420 kms ..now on rare occassions while changing gears i get a sound from inside the fairing and then after gear shift completes the voice stops... has happened twice or thrice now....... dont know .. possibly it needs to serviced..

They left the bike because it got damaged. An owner can register a complain if his vehicle is damaged while towing. To avoid this trouble they left the bike there itself. IMO

                • While touring with my friends who don't have faired bikes, I was pushed around by cross winds the most&crouching helped only marginally.
And I am talking about pre monsoon cross winds on a 4 lane highway!
But otherwise in normal weather/2 lane roads, faired bikes cut through wind like a hot knife through butter!

did those non-faired bikes perform well do throw some light on the issue because his mechanic asked him to remove the fairing fit a crash guard for touring alone in city be as stock zmr will this help and one another bro here said its not advised to remove the fairing and now confused

He will learn how to handle his bike with time, in all situations. If he didn't like faired bikes, why did he buy one?

                      • hey no hard feelings ya had he read this would have turned furious he doesnt even allow us touch his beauty while touring he faced some trouble when asked with mechs everyone comes up with a different answer he'll never accept for any mods just asking you people only to know something ya if someday he goes on for a mod which wont work completely being a good friend i dont want him to go the wrong way, also its much of power, torque and handling than the bike being faired or not; bro no one will accept a under powered bike(dont pounce on me here i'm not telling zmr some other bike for zmr is a beauty of 220cc's) for just its faired i hope you got me....well coming back to the cross wind thing i read on net making more wind ducts for the entering wind to escape might help any idea on that bro's

Hi Sachin i dont know about the sound from inside the faring but my chain had become dry and tight sometime back and i was feeling a kind of pull while changing gears...I think it might be the same thing u can get the chain checked....I got it oiled by my local mechanic now its good.

Well appreciate your feedback .. however in extreme cross winds such as place near Dam where i went ZMR,R15 & Ninja all 3 bikes well we were in serious trouble managing the bike..though we managed but was really tuff riding bcos of very strong winds blowing.. but in normal city ride normal winds blowing no problems i guess..

Very true, but doing that means making the bike look ugly u will need a real professional fabricator.

Cross winds do harm fully faired bikes until u get used to that pull.

IMO slowing down is the best solution for cross winds.
