        i had ask FORT-POINT that i didn't wanted fairing ...& i wanted to install fz headlamp & leg guard
        they told its not possible
        i have coupled of time seen when the fairing is removed the malfunction light starts blinking if bike on

                a small accident

                today evenign, i was returning from my svc after my 5th service. I was riding at a speed of 80 kmph all the way. At a straight stretch, a cat jumped from a wall and tried to cross the road, it hit my fairing. Exactly on lower fairing in a high pressure. The lower fairing just broken. I inspected the fairing at the spot itself. After reaching home, i inspected my fairing by loosening all screws. Found that i need to chnage the whole fairing as all screwing portions got partially broken. So i think its better to replace the whole fairing under insurance. Hope i ll get 50 percent coverage only on fiber parts. I ll have to check my svc for spare availablity tomorrow itself. But as Onam vacation is just starting I ll have to wait for one whole week for replaces.

                I have a small doubt. Hope manan or veryhiphop can clear it.
                Is the lower fairing one piece or two? I mean whether the both sides re two parts......or a single lower fairing covering both sides.?

                And i think the price of upper fairing is Rs. 1750/- and that of lower fairing is 550/- . What about labour charges?
                started riding a motorized cycle on a chetak classic.
                Learned to accelerate on Y RX100&135.
                Learned not to fall down, the patience to heal wound on knee and to ride long on a classic Pulsar 150(still running)&180.....

                          this sensor thing that is activated when the fairing is removed is true.. i recently had my fairing removed(to check some vibrations) by a svc mechanic.. since i'm close to him he'll usually let me inside.. when he was removing that i saw this sensor kept blinking throughout.. he said this was quite normal as he had worked with several other zmr's

                            Okay so its just the malfunction light that blinks

                            Then not a problem, I believe those morons have never completed the wiring so they face the blinking. When the fairing is removed, there are few wires which remain disconnected, connect them and check

                            Its a dual tube HID, means there are 2 HID tubes which glow together i.e high and low beam together. I haven't tested in long run but for a ZMR coil which pumps 232W of current, this shouldn't be a big thing.

                            I think you can change only the fairing which is needed, or open the fairing when you are free use M-Seal or Feviquick from inside and see the magic

                            Which service center ?? I had a bad experience with Majestic.

                              50% will be cover in fibre part....for metal 5%...if bike has not completed 6 months then there will be no deduction in metal part...100% will be given ...

                              upper faring is in two parts...left and right.. as for the lower fairing i think its single piece...by looking a lower fairing all seems (left and right) to be a single one...need to check it...

                              As for the availability of parts...i get mine in 1 week....except for the top right fairing....which also come within 2 days ....
