It is little broader and for this you also need to cut the chain cover...

Even in Stock Tyres gap between chain cover & tyre seems very less.. wonder how without cutting chain cover the Tyre M45 was fitted in that white ZMR

If you are replacing it with M45 tyres then you will not have to cut the Chain guard .. check the pic above of white ZMR with M45 tyres the chain guard is not cut

The chain guard had to be cut on the inside... normally m45 fits zma directly but with rear disc on zmr..little ithad to be cut from inside...

From where you bought M45 in Mumbai and at what price. Today I went to Mumbai central and there a Michlin dealer(shree Mahavir) showed me M45 but it looks like bicycle tyre I got confused.

Have changed to ZAPPER-Q within 50 kms @ an exchange price of Rs 1250/-
Exact dimensions so no changes and no Chain Cover cutting.
Honestly it feels really good at corners but had faced falling tire pressure issues.
Do not know whether due to TIRE or Tire fitting MECHANIC.

                        Ultimately resolved last SUNDAY.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(

Earlier there was some discussion in this thread regarding m45 michelin tyre. Please share your experince with M45, it will a great help

I desperaty want to change my ZMR rear tyre.
hey, i experienced very low grip by the stock tyre.
So i have replaced my rear tyre with michelin sirac 120
its grip is much better than stock and it works well off road too.
this tyre costed me around 3000 with a direct fit no need to cut the chain guard.
