Yes, there is an round rubber part...and a connector is there which is connected to three clips of bulb...i removed that...as you can view in the picture...

Now to open a bulb do i need to pull rubber part?..i am confused on this...

          • Hey all got my bike service on saturday(3rd)... I have given a complaint of some sound in the engine, the mech took a look at the bike and told it is the Tappet noise and it is gone after the serivicing. Even the vibrations I felt at 4-4.5k rpm are gone now.. can any one tell me what this tappet noise is?

            • there is nothing to worry abt tappet noise.... it is common.....and for this the bolts on the top of engine are tightened ..i guess...

that explains it... I do it a lot i mean sudden bursts of speed may be i should stop doing it.. generally I drive @50kmph suddenly gets a devil in my mind and i start zipping the bike at 70+kmph bad habit

                            • Tappet Noise occurs due to the lose setting of Tappets, i.e. the Valve Clearance. The tappet noise has to be precise which is measured using the FEELER GAUGE. If the tappets are lose then it makes only noise, if any s*** head mechanic tightens it more than needed then u wont know when ur bike will break down.

And its not the bolts on engine that is tightened, its done inside the engine cap.

Reg mileage, am getting 40+. Haven't checked the exact mileage.

Here are few snaps of my Dual Barrel Lit up, enjoy

                              • Recently completed second service. Now the bike feels smoother than ever and acceleration is even more crispier. I complained to the SVC earlier about light vibrating sound when the throttle is suddenly increased above 5K when in neutral. Even after second service, i can notice this. When enquired, he showed me the vibration was of the silencer mufflers.. He said it is normal. Is it so?

I too was getting 38 for the past couple of weeks and 100% in heavy city traffic. Now have to check mileage again after service.
