Did this for curiosity and performance checking?

I suggest all ZMR owners should share their numbers amongst themselves.

Rakesh, Good thought but is this deserving to be there?

Definetly it deserves that as you can see there are lot of FI engines right now in the indian market it will help us find out if any of them are using it or know anything about the performance of this Oil

    I have your mob.no. already!

      • the problem is not with battery... its due to accumulation of moisture on adapter....the moisture gets in due to rains....i was told to remove the adapter and put it back again... the adapter is near front headlight inside accesible by hand.. ask the mechanic to show it to you.. may be keeping it in a bit of sun can be nice option as well

I got my bike service yday and asked them abt the same.. they said moisture accumulation on adapter near front fairing.. one can remove it and re insert it...

Just wanted to share the same with all

same thing happens to me when bike parked overnight in rains, earlier i thought it was due to air lock, but since it is not carb this possibility is ruled out. let me also see this adapter thing.

water still get in there through minute pores in the cover,

IMO cover only helps in preventing sunlight away from bike but in case of rains it is not useful. maybe some very fine quality stuff may do the job.

It will prevent water getting in to some(much) extent and a branded cover will do the job.

Did a paid one this time intentionally.
It was Rs 550/- for Oil Change, Booster Oil & Fuel Injector.

The entire fairing was opened and refitted. No vibrations now.
                        Feels absolute brilliant now.

But a shocker for me!!! Need to change the FRONT disc pads in next service end Sep-2010. It has worn out. Cost is approx Rs 2200/-

Friend please confirm the price and is this normal??
Approximate 900 is the price of disc pads for genuine hero honda confirmed with the dealer. Its for ZMR. for karizma ZMA, the price is still 2200

That is quite strange. Dont the ZMA and ZMR use the same front disc assembly?

cover is just 600 bucks but when its pouring heavily it will get stuck tot he bike which is not good for paint..better to keep it open or some basement parking works well

Yes Saminder is spot on ..price for disc pad quoted in mumbai is 1050... these disc pads are indian by hero honda and not the ones for 2200 which are imported from honda

Satyajit : Please check if the disc pads u replacing were nissin made...and if yes be more careful.. it happens that from factory you are fitted with nissin and then once they get worn out you have option of these 1050 ones...

Mohsin, Nicely conveyed by you all guys. Thanks

Meanwhile checked with my favourite guy @ the SVC. Yes he confirmed in a different way.
Firstly, I need to confirm the OEM break pads fitted in my ZMR.
If original NISSIN, then have to be careful while changing.

Secondly, Indian break pads are being manufactured here and HH is supplying to SVCs now.
But previously in an accident ZMR the original NISSIN of Rs 2200 was fitted in my SVC.

If possible I'll try to buy and keep the original NISSIN ones as STOCK.
34567 kms and ZMR sold :(
