what average are the zmr owners getting..i have done 400 kms am getting around 30 at the moment..cant really predict the accurate average cause the fuel meter is highly inaccurate from 3 bars to blinking anything can happen..anyways what are the other zmr owners getting..

i am getting 40+ according to RTMI [in city ]
& yes ...fuel meter is highly inaccurate [ i really open up my tank & shake the bike to see the fuel ]

I am getting 45...for accurate mileage..full the tank..and then ride for say 100 KM...then again full the tank...see the liter of petrol input...

As for the fuel meter....when fuel is low then...1 bar starts blinking and it goes to second bar for few Km...then after only 1st bar keep blinking...

I know very few are lucky including you. Even I got it exactly in 30days. 11Jan booked and 11Feb @ home. But it's black.

Crossed 1K getting around 40-45 in city. One issue has emerged again, noise from front wheel ( chak ... chak ... ) . might be from the disk. Have to go to svc to get it done. Oh no not again !

i had changed my rear tyre with M45 120

yesterday i saw that the plastic which is used to save the engine from the dirt of rear tyre is touching the rear tyre slightly

would their be any problem in future with it ?

Yes the fuel meter is highly inaccurate, my observation it starts blinking as soon as the fuel level reaches around 3.5L and once again it will be fine when you fill up the fuel. Me still not able to calculate accurate figure.What i am doing is the moment the fuel indicator reaches one segment lower (say 4 to 3 consistently) i tank up fuel for say 100 bucks and then again check the mileage till the segment frops back to 3.
Approximately i am getting some 43.
BTW had a ride of 400kms this weekend mysore and shivanasamudra and stayed overnight. Total distance covered 1750. DUe for second service will take it this week. No additional changes done to the stock machine.
Few observations:
1.Long rides are really super cool in ZMR.
2.Curising speeds upto 90 is so confortable and gives you so much confidence (but unfortunately second service is still due so dint cross 100.
3.Braking is awesome, though on hard braking the wheel locks
4.And yes a sure headturner
5.Headlights are insufficent, have to replace esp if you are travelling in night. I found it difficult to manage with stock bulbs.

Overall a very nice experience.

Yipeeeee! My ZMR has arrived in the showroom. I am going tomorrow to pick it up. Need help!
1. Any checklist for taking delivery?
2. I want to ensure safety of the bike and myself in case of a fall - are there any accessories that I can fit?
3. Any coating or something else that needs to be done to save the bike from scratches/sticker peeling.
4. Somebody talked about kit for remote ZMR start / locking - Can the HH install it at the time of the delivery - any side effects of the same?
