regd the tyre alignment well you would be unlucky if your mags are bent as the only solution to solve it is by changing it( insurance again!) as there are no shops in major metros who do wheel balancing and aligning for bikes( makes me think to set up one now! have myself faced issues because of this!)

    • @Manan: Please ride safe and take care in future. I believe that you are pretty young and this must be your first bike. Although I would advise you to ride more cautiously, but at the same time I would also say that don't let these minor accidents deter you. Let these be stepping stones and lessons.

My two cents. I hope you dont take it in the wrong manner.

PS: And yes, as you are still in the learning phase, take off full fairing for some time. It costs a bomb

      • Guys, the tyres we have on the ZMR are new MRF 18" tubeless softe(er) compound ones. Can xomeone please give the full model name of both the tyres... It would read something like

        MRF Zapper ?? 100/90 x 18
        MRF Zapper ?? ???/?? x 18

(please fill the question marks by reading it from your bike's tyres)

          @all
my Handel is tilting towards left
SVC says - they would align the fork at Rs 700

other SVC Said - they would align it + change the "T" if needed at Rs2000

          what should i do
          should i change the "T " ?

Thanks Manan. But I was more interested in knowing what model of MRF Zapper they are. Like Zapper C or Zapper S, etc
Please update here if you know that details too.

i was going by an junction [near denu road ]suddenly a black car came & banged my front tyre
luckly no scratches or cracks to my ZMR
but the front tyre is tilting towards left

at that time i called up neo & asked for the address of SVC but i didnt got the address properly then i asked 1guy who was riding splendor ...he told me to follow him
& i was at SVC at pimpri
he told me to wait till tommorow
& i didn't wait & went directly to my sis college ....had some food & promised my sis that i wont ride mumbai - pune again

was going back to mumbai ....at 40 speed ....front disc was tight .....
on way i found a small HERO HONDA WORKSHOP near lonavala
i told him & he fixed it
they where so happy to see the ZMR

and then took the speed of 60 & came back to mumbai

waiting for tommorow to align the front wheel

                @all
again met with an accident today
i was going to met mohsin but unfortunately a stupid little kid came in front of my bike & i braked
kid got little injure i guess
i am fine thanks to the helmet [again thank to mohsin for the helmet choice ]

but the worst thing is about my love ...ZMR

                got scratches once again
on upper fairing only & on muffler
                rear brake lever bent

                i want to ask thing

would claiming insurance again would cause any problem in future
[as today i was in SVC & that svc people told that clamming insurance again & again will let bikes value down & in my next claims even isurance money would get reduce ]

and also planning to change the "T "
in this claim ....would this be a good option

just love my bike like hell <3

                • ^^I told you, get rid of the fairing!

Anyways, get well soon and please for god sake get yourself some good riding gear. Remember one thing, be it your fault or not, you will be the one most likely to suffer!

would claiming insurance again would cause any problem in future
[as today i was in SVC & that svc people told that clamming insurance again & again will let bikes value down & in my next claims even isurance money would get reduce ]

in this claim ....would this be a good option
That's bullsh**. You have taken a claim once, so taking a claim again would make NO difference. You will anyhow not get the bonus so dont worry!

And that is a Rs 1500 T-Cone that you are talking about. So take it under the claim. And also get the handlebar changed along with the forks straighted.

                  What other damages?

                  Take care

                  • after the second accident
my fork was tilting towards left
so they would align it & change the "t-cone" of Rs 1100
+ aligning the fork with oil & all

they quoted Rs 2100 for it

                    after this 3rd accident
right side front fairing upper Ra 1750 [was brand new ...2days old]
                    muffler Rs 550
                    brake lever

& is their anything called claiming insurance fees ?

                        • Manan: PLEASE get some riding gear dude, this is your third time, before the next one happens save your a**, head to this place i will call you where get a nice jacket and knee guards. Just go there and armor yourself.

Hope you get the parts this time around on time. Also, get the T changed, get new clipons as surely they must be damaged whatever side, just do away the parts which got damaged by claiming in insurance. Its better to pay half the price then buying it outright later on. Try getting your front alloy changed too as its taken the brunt thrice now and I suspect it to be bent given the no of complaints you have been venting..

                          Just do all this up!

                          n get well soontc

As per your post, I believe that the insurance fees are the "file charges". But confirm with those guys, I am not that sure.

And next time on, ride safely. On Indian roads, anyone from anywhere can pop up.

Yaar drive safe...i think as this is your first bike and ZMR pickup response is very good..even in 50-60 speed it is fast...so may be you are just opening a throttle little bit...(May be i am wrong on this..)

so i would suggest you to drive little low and safe..
