Guys I heard that ZMR production has been stopped by the HH, can anybody throw light on this?

Dude as you already know I hav booked my ZMR at autolink. Here the condition is even worse. They dont even attend you properly when you visit the showroom for getting the update or status of your ZMR. But I did not have any option becos bookings were closed at fort point that time also.Originally posted by manan View Post

@veryhiphop dude dont you think, Its been 6-7 months that ZMR has been launched. Still no progress in production. Some dealers have stopped taking bookings, some are quoting 6-7 months waiting. officially it was 5 months but they unofficially they said they will try and get it soon
I am not asking them to get it in month or so but at least in 2-2 n half months.
Actually I wanted No. 3 for my ZMR. You might be knowing that MH-02-BX series at andheri RTO is about to end. and if I want 3 then I hav to rush to RTO these days. ZMR in Kolkata
Things have improved in Kolkata
. Getting delivered in a month. Now at least all the Dealers are taking the Booking.

As far as I know the reaosn for long waiting period was due to the Heating issue that they encountered with the firest few batches of ZMR's In order to fix this they had to redo few thing and then send them to dealers. What changes they had to redo is something that I don't know. HH was surprised to see the demands for ZMR and they had not expected such demands for the motorcycle. HH is runing full time productions on ZMR in 2 plants but they are uanble to fulfil the market demands.Comment

After almost three long months, today I finally got a call from the dealer that my bike has arrived
Couldn't go today but going to take the delivery tomorrow morning. Quite excited, hope i get some sleep tonight
I have also gone through the pre-delivery checklist posted earlier in this thread.
Will post further updates tomorrow once I bring the bike home.Yamaha RX 135 (2001-2003)
