    • @all WHITE owners: (especially mohsin):

How are you maintaining the color of your steeds? White is a stain magnet, so did you do any coating on it? How often do you clean and how?

Did you come across any incident like some children scratching or making a mark on the body (there are lots in my citiy).

Actually I'd like to know can the white
ZMR's body colour be maintained easily, or it requires immense care.
From variable Bhps to a constant 17.6 Bhp.

its not that difficult to maintain, just a wipe and dirts off. i have a fairly good aprking right under my window and i keep it covered. Watchman washes bike in morning with special instructions he doesnt touch white parts

I too have faced the issue of not able to shift down the gears, now i depress the clutch and then downshift seperately (not it doesnot happen everytime).
Fairing veirations, i have not faced any fairing vibrations till now have finished 2 service too.

PM me your number, i too am from bangalore we can catch up sometime
Already met Riyaz and Vinayak (yesterday)

                      • Well - I have driven about 400 kms on my ZMR and here are some of the issues that I have faced -

                        1. The right RVM was vibrating and it became so loose that it fell off the bike. I will take it to showroom when I get some time to get fixed again.
                        2. The gears are a little hard. I find it problematic to shift to neutral sometimes. I guess they will smoothen out after 1 and 2 service.
                        3. The water does not drain inside the fuel cap when washed.
                        4. It attracts unwarranted attention. Some children who stand at traffic signals start cleaning the bike with old and dirty clothes - even the the bike is sparkling clean and make it dirty. I request them not to do it - but that makes them do it even more - feel helpless.

                              1. Try out first what worrisomebear has recommended. If this is not the solution then, you must have lost the threading and probably need to change the housing ( if it has happened twice )
                              2. As mentioned by the worrisomebear, ask the SVC to lubricate it ( I had done this after the first service, and are bit smooth now, But have a issue while down-shifting, even though the clutch is applied they don't respond and remain in top, have to release the clutch and then down-shift and for that period results a big knocking in engine )
                              3. The drain pipe from the tank bents in between blocking the free flow in drain. Track the pipe and just pull a bit little or Ask the SVC to do so if you are going over there. ( do this asap, because the excess water spills into the fuel tank )
                              4. Can't help. Only thing here we can do is request them. or keep 5 bucks handy as soon as they reach you, hand it over and get relieved.

                              • Today its been exactly one month since I booked a white ZMR (at Chinchwad Pune). I called up the showroom person but couldn't get much info out of him.

He told that white color is not a problem, we will call you as soon as we get your bike. Commitment time of 2.5 months given at the time of booking still holds good. Red color has more waiting, and for red color they are delivering right now to February bookings.
