Today its been exactly one month since I booked a white ZMR (at Chinchwad Pune). I called up the showroom person but couldn't get much info out of him.

He told that white color is not a problem, we will call you as soon as we get your bike. Commitment time of 2.5 months given at the time of booking still holds good. Red color has more waiting, and for red color they are delivering right now to February bookings.

Even I booked my white ZMR 1 month back but no signs of getting it in near future. They dont even attend customers properly.

Every time I go to enquire about status the say we will let you know. But till now not even for single time got a call regarding status( At least the can give updates for eg. we hav started geeting more of whites or blacks now wud u like to go for alternate color? Something like that )

But they never do this.

I was never fan of hero honda. In fact I like bajaj bikes. I m maintaining pulsar since 6 years now but still it easily touches 100 while coming to office on the highway. And bajaj service seems better than HH in our area. They have very big n well equipped SVC center in our area.

Hero Honda dealership response is absolutely pathetic. Even here in KOLKATA I had a talk with the Zonal Office where I was assured the Dealers would call me but I was mistaken. In fact this is the reason I will book my White ZMR through a mechanic who was an ex-employee of SVC. Just following the pulse. Will book in MAY.

Pictures ... hmmm ... well to be frank I just have a 2 megapixel mobile camera which unfortunately does not comes out with quality stuff. Hi all, well did 121 Km till date. I am having a few questions for fellow ZMR owners :

1. I am observing lot of vibration on the front fairing. I was not able to view objects clearly through the rear view mirror because of the vibration.
Question: Is this common across all the new ZMR's?

2. I am facing issues when I try to bring down the gear from 5th to let say 2nd. After bringing down the gear from 5th to 4th I have to release the clutch half way in order to realize the 3rd followed by 2nd gear. I never faced this sort of issues with my Unicorn.
Question: What do you say guys?

3. The HH service center people are the perfect examples of "morons". On the day of delivery (the bike arrived at the showroom from godown the day before) I noticed a kind of spill over marks just next to the petrol tank lid. I immediately raised the concern and showed my displeasure regarding the finish. This lead to the entry of so called "morons" (mechanics) into the scene. Two of them took turns in analyzing the issue. Then one of the "moron" immediately came up with an idea of applying some liquid polish with some other chemical. Next, the "moron(s)" took turn in polishing the area around the petrol tank lid. After working out for around 10 minutes the spill over marks finally faded out though visible if observed carefully. And surprise ... surprise the first gift from the HH service guys - A very neat scratch (around 2 inch long & couple of mm wide) ... clearly visible & prominent
I was like what the f**k man ... I paid 1.09 lakhs and these oxy morons are screwing it up.
Finally the sales guy intervened and assured me that the issue will be fixed by next day. Now today he is saying that I have to leave my bike for 2 days as the issue can be sorted out by the HH head office in Bangalore. However am planning to give my babe next Thursday.
Question : Are the condition of all HH Service Centers like this? Aren't there any well qualified people who can handle our vehicles with care?

And ahem ... ahem the biggest surprise of all. Today when I was at the showroom one of the "moron" from the top episode (on whom I felt like throwing rotten eggs) inquired - "Sir, how is the bike doing and what was the top speed that you touched?" I replied back saying the bike is awesome and I didn't dare to try more than 60 Km/h on the speedometer. I saw a big smile on the face of our "moron". He declared proudly - "I touched 145 Km/hrs when I brought one of the bikes from the godown to the showroom". I was like (speechless !!!)
I didn't dare to ask him more details because I literally felt like strangling the "moron"

May god help other ZMR owners from such "morons"

I agree with you, the showroom AMIT MOTORCYLCES sales staff is so pathetic. I WAS INITIALLY GOING TO BUY THE KARIZMA-R, but the response of the staff over there is so pathetic that i opted for the 220, not at all disappointed! Best of luck for your bike

Friends here comes a stunning news

One guy called up from M/S Cynosure Manik's Auto Centre from BARASAT in Kolkata just half an hour ago.

He can deliver me a WHITE ZMR tomorrow itself. Though he informed that initially I planned for a BLACK hence it is also ready. I enquired whether he was serious he simply challenged me.

According to him HE will be able to deliver almost any colour within a month. He categorically insisted me what is my tentative time plan. He will call me up then.

They are eager to sell ZMRs to the down payment guys. Since no hassle is involved.
