Not a big deal man. You got to take care of the bike yourself. Find out what is making it vibrate? must be the clamps that holds the fairing or the screws that hold the fairing tight. Even my pal's ZMR suffered minor injuries but we managed to get it done ourselves without taking it to HH service. Refer the pics for the damages.Originally posted by manan View Post

Actually I saw someone riding a White ZMR in J.P Nagar 1st phase on Sunday (21/03) in the evening around 6.30 pm. I followed him for a while and enjoyed the sound of the engine...

& how did you got the parts yourself ?
& ZMR is my first bike so i dont know very much about bikes internally if i try fixing it i'll screw it more so i better leave it on professional [which are useless ]

Yet to get the parts, for time being we managed to get its surface smoothened and painted it, Indicator still in same condition, Brake peddle bend removed, cant even recognize it was bent. Front brake lever and handle weight suffered only scratches, so it is also a surfacing and painting job, As the right fairing is painted ZMR sticker is missing, will get a normal PVC sticker cut into the same shape and will stick it today. I will update with the pics by evening. My friend who was riding it is unhurt, just a little scratch on his right palm, He was wearing protective guards as it happened when we were testing the bike's limits. ZMR was dragged against my p200.

A water spray from the gun of water service center can clean the oil cooler, even after this spray if its not clean you can use a brush to clean it.
To check oil pump and oil for cleanliness you need a professional. If the oil is not clean, the dust particles will have accumulated at the oil filter thus blocking the free oil circulation.Last edited by pradyumna; 03-23-2010, 11:18 AM.

Good to meet you here man, where do you stay. Lets catch up sometime.
I stuck to 50 (3rpm 5th gear max until the first service.. and did all kinds of ride like traffice, night and non traffic... for steady running in bangalore i have made use of the E-City flyover very much
After first service gradually i am moving on to higher speeds (like i started with 55- 60 band and nw doing in 60 - 65 band, occasionally touching 80 for few seconds. Max i have done is 90 with Riyaz

Browse the pages in this thread we have pretty much most of the info there for the running in period.

I have a p200 from 32months and it is oil cooled so does it have an oil cooler, believe me it doesnt harm your oil cooler. But make sure you dont spray it from close and keep pointing the pressure water at the same place for long time. @pradyumna: Sorry to hear about the fall. My tip: If you are getting another sticker, get the surface clear coated (lacquer) after stickering to make it look&last like the original. Same applies for paint too. Be sure that the painter matches the shade correctly&applies clear coat after painting.
The damages are minor (cannot say about the indicator though), and if done correctly, they can be covered up easily without any trace of damage.Quench my thirst with gasoline!

Already surfacing and painting job is done and yes painter matched it correctly. We cant make out that it is painted so easily. yes we know about the clear coat, we are waiting for the sticker job to be completed to do the clear coat. The only thing we are left with is a damaged indicator and it is not readily available. Other things will be completed by today evening.
