Adbhi, just making a groove will not increase the CR but will cause reduce the CR. Instead he shaved the head for 0.07mm for reducing the spacing in TDC to compansate or so, and then made the groove, which he claims that it will ensure the best combustion by slowing down the advance ignition or so, not sure. But he's got a patent for this, is that so easy to get a patent if its under suspicision?

Being old engine only am ready to take a risk of shaving off and getting grooved, but feed backs are not promising. Replacement of Cyl block assy is the ultimate solution I know.

Too late for touring here as the mansoon will hit here by first week of June mostly but last year it started by May 2nd week and stopped by end of the month and June was full of sunny days almost. I hate biking on rains rather enjoy it on 4wheels.

I am from mysore and i heard many things about him, he is so short tempered, he is too expensive and many more things. Havent met him yet but I heard that he has stopped working on Bikes. Nowadays he does only cars. I remember one of my friend got his RX135 rebuilt 2 years back, dont know what all he did on that but my friend told the bill was 48k . But that RX was not so impressive, it was defeated by another RX(done by Mr.Johnson)

@sajjt - But once you shave off the head, you will need a new head too if things go wrong. Else the same head could have been used.

Are sorry for being outspoken, now adays time is really hard pressed, u can see the no of posts from here. Mine is a seasonal business so its our harvesting time but not that good or bad, just average, bit anxious too, to overcome this. Thats why I mentioned that, dont take to ur heart dear, surely I'll find some time to spend with. But being its a one man show, I've to be around there.

HID needed

Its DIY so no labour charges but good amount of time, atleast 2 days trial and error fixing for the beam positioning.

Its a normal 35W HID bulb but designed to use in projectors.

Batt drain was tackled once the RR was swapped. its a must for older bikes, if the bike's having dc lighting no changes, direct snap on. Batt stays cool even after a 2 hrs ride with 2X55 spots when ever necessary. Beyond that I'vent tried till but there r others who can vouch for this.

P200 Headlight Problem

Hi Guys,

This thread has been a lot more informative as far as lighting up the head is concerned.

Based on the info in the thread I had upgraded to Os Nb 55/60 with Avey coil.The light is brillant but I am facing a unique problem after doing this upgrade. When I am using the bike at Night with the head lamp on the engine goes of in the middle of the road (when i try to accelerate hard) and the one way clutch gives up, I hear a thud from the engine. I got the bike checked with my mech and he mentioned that the one way clutch has given up. No matter, I changed the same after a couple of days again the same problem. Opened the one way clutch and guess what again the little magnet pieces has broken in the one way clutch.

My questions here:
1.has any1 faced this problem?
2.Whts the solution?

Plz people help me on this as I am already out of pocket which the bill for 2 oneway clutch.

Seems this is not an electrical problem or anything to do with the coil. Also check for the ign coil and the pulse coil, it can make a diff. Get the help from an authorised service centre.

First lot pulsar 220 dtsi came with the defective one way clutch system and it was replaced by the bajaj service free of cost under warrenty. If yours is p220 dtsi please do the needful.

As mentioned I am using the OS NB with avy coil on the P200. I noticed recently that the low beam focuses more towards the left side were as the High beam is alright is it normal?
