^The rear brake is used just enough to break traction, not to the point of complete lockup

I do not know what a power slide is on a corner. But if you say that he is using the rear brake then I request you to look a little further and you will notice that in slow motion, the rear wheel is still turning! Could someone explain that please!

This was sometime ago, the thread which practically taught me to corner effectively. Its been sadly converted to a '17" vs 18" showdown' thread

Time to get the thread back on track !
    Lemme get the ball rolling.

    Bike: Zma on stock rubber.
    Location: Nandi hills

Haven't been lucky enough to attend a trackday as yet. My cornering practice is restricted to Nandi and DD hence
Im having trouble tackling hairpins at Nandi. I end up overcooking it unless i don't slow down to a crawl
I don't hang off the bike, however i make a conscious effort to shift a cheek and it works decently enough for all the corners except hairpins.
    Killer saar, help maadi !

@ Karthik- It has been a tad difficult to get some time off from work for my first track run. I will need at least a 5 day leave to travel all the way from Pune to Chennai and back.

Well well, I have something to read now, when I am not coding ...

I have been dying to hit the track and am yet to experience my first track day. Am hoping I can come down to Chennai before the monsoons this year.

I am amazed by this fact..not even a single track day you say....??

thanks man I dont know how much speed I was carrying at that corner. There is a immediate left hander after that corner so not sure abt the exit speed also.
Dude, you are improving by leaps and bounds... I still remember what you said to me on your first race ..
