i second that. I saw the bike in the Bangalore showroom, opposite Forum. I couldnt help think, man, this thing is HUGE! Everything from the forks, tank, the side panels, and of course the TYRES. 100 up front and 140 at the back??? Are you KIDDING me?? Amazing road presence, this BEAST will have. FZ16, in my opinion, is going to a MAJOR success. And, oh yes, by the way, Yamaha India is not only pointing in the right direction but its moving ahead big time.

too good...... am hooked to all the discussions on FZ16....seems like the best 150cc class bike.... and un-doubtly the best looking bike in the country. The quality levels are something we have never seen on our Indian bikes.
Looks very similar to the FZ1..... just got this pic off the net :

The only sore point in my opinion. For the rest of the bike 10/10. How come no one is talking about the power. I wish it belted at least 15 PS.

                      Guyz,

I booked a Fz-16 on 19th from Panache Enterprises, saw the bike, fell in love with it, just walked in, asked for the test ride, was told that test drive will be available only next week. Took another glance at the bike, went ahead and booked the bike. Hope the yamaha wont disappoint me on the engine dept.

Sales guy(manju) promised me the bike, either red or black by end of october first week. On Road price of the bike is 75K.

                      Waiting for october

                          Yamaha FZ16 Review

To start off this bike has striking presence. The looks of this bike will be a major reason for its success. We all know that the Pulsar 150 is int as great a bike as its sales figure suggests, its engine is not as refined either compared to the Unicorn but it does sell and how! One of the main reasons for the Pulsar 150 to sell so well is, it looks the part and the FZ16 makes the Pulsar look like a bike from last generation. After looking at the FZ16, i can confidently say that the bike is Definitely Male.

The FZ16 really is a awesome machine. It makes the others like the Pulsar look very old generation. My first impressions on the bike are here Yamaha FZ16 Review | Indian Cars & Bikes

Have seen it in flesh the other day. Man! What a bike; looks macho and beefy. The rear looks terrific with the 140 section tyre. Loved the whole looks of the bike. The reviews are promising that the bike has good low and mid rage grunt. Would love to have one for the city ride.

One interesting information I found is, one can change the color of the bike by just spending 1800 bucks for the panels.

FZ16 is simply superb when it comes to styling and looks. Now, this is what we call a "Naked Bike". The figures looks good too with a dry weight of approx 130kgs and 14PS I think it should be a sweet song on the road. And being priced at approx Rs. 75k is very affordable for a bike with such a road presence. But, I am not sure if it is going to be that "cheap". A guy like me will any day go for FZ16 over R15. Doesn't matter which genre both the bikes belong too FZ16 looks mean and "Beautiful". I might go for it if the road tests results are attractive. I guess this month's Bike India has got it. Will grab it and see.
