disappointed to hear this ..... I thought we'll see some continual revolution that R15 created some months back..... but then the bike makes up with the looks n handling.... its a killer machine....

Saw it for the first time here in cuttack yesterday. Was crossin my mechanics shop when i saw two fz-16s n one r-15 being showcased by the yamaha crew. Stopped over for a look-see. Others were also gathered around. FZ-16 got the most attention. Typical questions being asked, "whots the mileage", "engine capacity kya hai" etc. The best one, "wont the raised tank hit the balls"....
The dealer here is also giving an exchange offer. (I own a fazer 125)
Anyways got to hav a 1 min test drive.
My impressions.....
Nice n smooth drive; pickup gud.
Clutch n gears top-notch yamaha quality.
Handling n rider position gr8.

Cons
Small back seat.
Instrument cluster small. Bigger wud hav been better.
No kick-start? Why?

Had been off the bike scene for coupla years, being just a commuter. Felt my pulse racing and heart beating riding the FZEEEE.
Time for me to get back?

The Bike looks good and that's were it ends.......ride quality is comfortable with single rider only....Bike is too light and cant trust it at high speeds may bounce off a bump on the highway. People using pulsars-----this bike is not for you, rest can give it a try....

well it seems our dear pulsar friends working overtime on the rumor mills ........lol.........i'd say give the bike it's time to show it's true nature and color......going by the bookings and reviews it's getting , all i can say is this is yet another best seller from Yamaha this year after the legendry R15 and it has surpassed bookings of even it's own big brother R15, pulsars have been good ...i will say infact the best ....since the demise of the classic CBZ ....but this bike is here to prove a point , that you can have it all power, international looks(mind you , it's an fz1 replica)as compared to done to death looks of pulsars....highly manouvarable and sexy around corners(only comes 2nd to R15 and a notch up than apache rtr ).....i would say keep riding a pulsar and blend in the crowd.....if u wanna stand out ride an FZ16. Pulsar is a legend and FZ16 is the new phenomenon , tech and look wise both are miles if not poles apart.

Got my FZ-16 delivered yesterday

Hi Guys.... I finally got my FZ, it was a waiting hell for me for last past 35 days, here in hyderabad ... the BAL finance company from the Yamaha team is a f***king finance company. I really see this as a black spot on Yamaha. I strongly suggest them to close this bank or simple fire all the staff working in Venkatesa Motors branch. They got my blood in my head.

Anyhow..... I managed to get money from outside & got my Orange FZ. & Let me tell u guys, people just cant stop piercing their eyes from my bike on the road & where ever I park it. I will post pics in a day or two. The engine note is very different from other bikes that are present in the country & the looks are simply KILLER.

When I saw the bike in showroom (although I knew a long b4 they announced that this bike going 2 launch in Goa on 1 Oct) it was a good Love-at-1st-sight but when I got this bike delivered IT LOOKED COMPLETE DIFFERENT. I mean to say that its looks more deadly, more stunning, more dashing, more sexxxxxxxxy on road than in display.

If I start now , I will simply won't stop writing about my bike. I even have some very funny comments that people who are un-aware of this bikes looks .... they made some very funny comments that I will post U with my pics.

Is is possible to cancel a booking and get refund??
In that case how much refund is possible(100%)??
I am asking for the case of Yamaha FZ 16!!!

hmm it depends upon the dealer...btw have you paid full or just token amount like 5k or 10k??
