  • Peace!
I am another Karizma guy, who just got the FZ. Yes, in no way can you compare the FZ with other 150cc bikes. The FZ is in a different league all together. The only other bike i gave a serious thought to was the Apache RTR.
I have done around 400km, and the bike is all ready for its first service soon. True to Bike India's test, the FZ is a delight, be it in traffic, or while stunting (though i just tried out a couple of stoppies..)

Apache Fi beats this bike hands down ,apache has same price but performance is in a league of its own .

      • Puneet : Peace there man. Do u always ride a bike with the throttle pinned? Do u always have the rpm needle above 6000rpm?
A bike is not only about outright performance but a lot more. Comfort, torque, handling, looks, quality.

The point here is not to argue. The RTR is a faster machine no doubt. Peace

of course Puneet.... RTR is the fastest in its class (pls don't count the R15 in this class by any means)... end of the day it might boil down to personal choice.

Have already booked my FZ16, want to try something different! Already owned Unicorn but sold it due to riding comfort problem, am 6.1 Unicorn was the best 150cc bike engine wise I had ridden but now my vote goes for FZ16.

I think Pulsar people can start a separate thread for their wars between 150 180 200 220! No ways they can match JAP engineering! - Its like comparing Mallika Sherawat with Angelina Jolie!

Yes really! agree RTR is good for miniatures, but for a guy of my height - 6.1, stretched hands, the handle feels real close and very cumbersome.

Also, I did not get the kick in the back feeling of power what I feel on my ZMA.

Got a chance to ride a RTR for 120Kms between Chennai and Bengaluru, not an ideal choice for people above 5.11 height!

This all just my humble opinion..

                            • ^ how can u expect the kick of a 220cc bike from a 160cc man?
But yeah, the rtr is a tight fit for anyone over 6 feet. I am almost 6, and the FZ feels spot on. the seat height is low, but the wide handle bars are relaxing

                              • BTW, FZ16 deliveries are happening at a tortoise pace... it seems dealers are getting only about 3 or 4 bikes per lot.

Also, two new colors - Silver & Blue are planned for once the initial demand subsides... may be in about 3 months.
