The parts are already trickling in at the panache service centre .. saw boxes full of them .. so they are indeed gearing up .. Hope I could say the same about the oil filters for 1 5.

Well? 5.5 seconds of 0-60 kmph is not so impressive ...
Yamaha claimed fastest 0-60 in the segment. "Claimed"
Now what?
So, it means that Unicorn & RTR will still have faster 0-60?
I hope the Test figures improve over the time, especially coz the new bike may not have completed run-in ...---

i might be wrong but i think the the fastest 0-60 time in the segment quote was made for the R15..not for this beast..but as i said..im sincerly not sure about it.Originally posted by Samarth 619 View PostWell? 5.5 seconds of 0-60 kmph is not so impressive ...

The fastest 0-60 still remains with RTR (being a 160cc bike). Comparing with CBZ X/P150/Uni... the FZ has a small edge of -0.1sec to 60kmph, but that goes the other way with 0-80kmph with around +1.1sec difference compared to Xtreme/P150. So its a extremely fast accelerating bike till 6-7k rpm... then loses the breath.
I checked out the bike, its good. I will just elabourate the negative points(coz if I start with the positives.... you all will get bored
), the wheelbase is very less, the tank which has a plastic moulding on it..... looks cheap and will easily lose its luster and will have many scratches very soon(but the design is amazing... very muscular). The rear grab handles have some rubber bushings on them.... look kinda like aftermarket stuff. The bike is strictly for city riding, it cant run fast on the highways, coz of its gearing and torque spread over the low and mid range rpm. The seating is also very commuterish. The only visible hitch spoiling the show is the rear drum brake...... looks real out of place when you see it with the massive 140 section tyre.
A biker whos currently riding a 150+cc bike cant go back to 150cc FZ, coz the power difference is quite a lot. But am sure many will fall for the looks.
Except the above negatives.... the bike has amazing build quality.... everything else goes without saying..... its worth the money.....by far better than any other 150cc bike in India.
If given a choice..... I will go for the RTR Fi....Chetan

Nope no pics...... but I had a heavy argument with the Owner there..... feel really sad to see him braggin 130kmph for the FZ..... and says.... Pulsars and ZMA are the worst bikes.... I could not control myself and had a big argument that ended with him saying "I will beat ur 220 with my R1.. err R15"..... I said anyday......Originally posted by inder.cool View PostChetan, did u click any pics over there..!! If yes, could you post them..

now can some one tell me the difference b/w these two. Which is more powered one ??
max torque : 17.17/1.75 kgm
and
max torque : 14 N.m / 6000 rpm ..
Whats hte difference between the two above. How is the KGM and RPM related to each other... or is my question wrong ??There are Bikers

It should actually be: 17.17 Nm / 1.75 kgm
Kg-m (Kilogram meter)and Nm (Newton Meter) are two different units to measure Torque (Twisting Force) .
Conversion: 1 Kgm= 9.8 Nm
[Its like we have Kms and Miles, which are two different units to measure distance]
Torque in "Kg-M" can be visualized as the "Force in Kgs being applied on the free end of one meter long rod, which is fixed at the other end to rotate freely"
A Torque of 2 Kg-m is like a Weight/Force of 2 Kgs being applied on the free end of a Meter long rod which if fixed on the other end to rotate freely.
The "Maximum" Torque comes at a particular RPM level in engines.

My point here was ....max torque : 17.17 N.m/1.75 kgm and
max torque : 14 N.m / 6000 rpm ..
one bike produces 17.17 Nm and another produces 14 Nm. But how to compare the 1.75KGM and this 6000 Rpm ??There are Bikers
There are Super Bikers...
