Has anyone managed to fit the new balancer gear with the plastic gears on a 180 classic ? if so how ? the bike vibrates like crazy and its not ride able . i would have to scrap it because of this one part .

    Hello Sagar,
I too got my P180 fitted with K&N, tried to adjust the AFR screw myself but ended messing things up. You better take your bike to an experienced mechanic, or else you might damage the engine. And finding such a mechanic won't be an easy task. BTW I don't find K&N any good, it just makes the bike more maintenance hungry. Would perform well initially but would deteriorate over time. I am planning to move back to the stock air filter.

Turn the AFR screw anti clock wise to let more petrol in.

Well someone's here after a long time.. How's your steed bro? Why did the bearing give up? Any symptoms prior to it? Did the wheel lockup?

The problem should be with the carb jet. Upsizing jet means you buy a bigger sized jet for main jet and tune the carb accordingly. Until this is done properly, the bike will not perform as earlier. BTW, k&n allows more dust into the engine along with air which can ruin the engine earlier. Stick to stock for best performance/reliability combo.

Well the rear shock absorbers of new 180 are a bit taller in compared to the older ones. I have 2010 model and now in 2015 when I got new rear shocks, there was a difference of around 1 inch in the height of the shock absorbers, so the height will get increased by 1 inch if you get the new ones. Price of the pair is 1600rs
The other method is to go to a local place where modifications are done and they can help you with anything
P.S. First compare the height of your shocks with the new ones, then decide
That's all I can help you with
P.S.S. Do one thing ask the same question in pulsar 220 section and pulsar 150 section, there are more members there and you will get multiple suggestions
