    Noise will reduce after piling up few thousands of kms.
    Even if the mechanic tighten the valves, the noise will not go away
    as far as i know this noise is generated due to high lift cam with higher compression (more higher lifted compared to earlier hunk/xtreme) hence i can safely assume that noise is generated from a healthy engine. only way to get that noise away is to install 14.4 ps xtreme's cam but power will also go down.

    But yes these kind of noise is not expected from HERO.

    Yeah I also test drove Hornet & Uni160. throttle response felt good, but build quality is bad! Refinement not as good as the 150.

    plus lack of spares, high cost of spares, low resale, more fragile fibre parts (hornet), cheap switches.


    This is why I decided for a Uni150, very reliable & refined, available spares, very good sturdy build, good resale if I upgrade to bigger bikes.

    few cons: thin tyres + no rear disc + a little underpowered. That's it. I can live with these cons.


    Uni150 has a long waiting time, till then I hope RTR200 arrives, i will just TD it lets see how it goes

    My mistake, totally forgot about GS150R. RTR 200 might be a bit short for you since you are tall. Why not Honda Hornet? OF course you can never go wrong with Unicorn

    I had a chance to speak to an Xtreme sports customer during my visit to Hero ASC.
    He upgraded from a Glamour and looked like someone who does long rides as part of his job.
    He is overall OKAY with the bike and is extremely happy with the mileage he is getting - 50 kmpl.
    His main concern was the riding position, he is not that comfortable it seems. I advised him that Xtreme/Hunk are comfortable bikes, he may need to get used to the half-sporty riding position.

    I feel you brother, moving from a Karizma to a P220, I exactly know how it feels.

    Rather than got for a 150, you could try the 100~125cc models, they're fun to ride and lighter on the pocket.

    Mate, the GS150R is permanently discontinued since quite some time ago. Today went to dealership and checked out Xtreme sports & Hunk: brand new bikes have valve noises, so sad to see Hero going downhill.

    I will try to get RTR200, but unfortunately it hasnt arrived @my city yet.

    Please think again. I own a 2010 cbz xtreme and the bike is still running good. It is quite reliable, niggle free good service network and spare parts are available all across. No doubt you will enjoy owning any of the bikes you mentioned above. However, you will miss out on the following features from a P220,

    Quick review on MRF Zapper Q 110 section:

    Positives:
    1. Amazing dry grip on tarmac and decent grip on gravel.
    2. Wet grip is much better than stock tyres, didn't push it much.
    3. Good value for money
    4. Very few options are available for 18" wheels, this one seems to be the safe bet.

    Negatives:
    1. 110 section with stock front does't have any advantage over 100 section except for looks, while taking decent lean angles thin front tyre does't allow the bike to lean enough to use the extra width.
    2. 110 section seem to be very tight fit.

    Where can I find speedometer inner assembly for CBZ xtreme ? Long story short, I went to a roadside mechanic to get my speedometer fixed and he endedup spoiling the entire thing. Now the fuel guage, neutral light, highbeam light and indicator on light and the tacho meter have stopped working. The showroom insists that I change the entire console for 2.3K.

    I am looking for something like this

    Kindly Suggest on good rear wheel bearings (OEM/ SKF/ TATA/ NBC/FAG)

    Also Suggest on the type of sealing , I mean double side Rubber sealed or single side sealed is ok.
    BTW bearing number for CBZ/Hunk/Achiever is 6302U for Rear Alloy wheel.
