    Re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk

This is a question for Chennai guys

Which is the best SVC I have ever tried only 3 SVC from the day the I got the bike

    Vishnu Motors in Ekkaduthangal

Nagappa Motors Kilpauk once because they were the only ones offering insurance for accident repairs

    And

Kohinoor opposite Spencer in the BP petrol bunk.

Vishnu Motors was always a mixed bag it will be good once then disappointing the next time. Buy I mostly gave for service there, but over time they became expensive only for general service and rear brake pads change there bill used to come around 1.2k and then there was the time when they would never suggest what repairs to carry out. My front disc was worn but they never decided to change enquire about it nor change it. When I called two days after I took the bike, the technician said yes it had to be changed but he did not do it. I felt bad and did not fret about it.

From next time started giving at kohinoor. It was good for the first two times and then last time the ownership had changed and they had not even washed the bike properly, when I pointed that out. The owner lady and the guy responsible started having a argument about it and totally forgot about it. That was it I was pissed and disappointed so left it there and complained to Hero call center. The service manager called and said he will give me a free wash. Which I was not interested in because I cleaned the bike myself afterwards.

Now after these experiences I have no idea where to give my bike to service because the big ones Nagappa and Southern are over crowded and small ones like kohinoor have become brattish.

    Chennai people please help.

    P. S. Give is Hunk

    Re: CBZ xtreme / Hunk

    hi all,
my primary ride is a cbz xtreme 2012 model. I got some minor issues with the rid-ability of my bike. The height of the bike is the main problem for me. The vibration comes second. so here is my queries:

    1. Can i change the size of tires (both front and rear) to a smaller one so that i can lower the height? and how much it cost if i do?
    2. Do we really do anything to get rid of the handle vibration while riding?
pardon me if its noob question as i dont have any idea what to do in this regard.

Should I get throttle cable checked?

If I rev hard, the rev doesn't go beyond 6-6.5 in few cases.
    Carburetor need a proper overhaul

I'll get the carb cleaned tomorrow.

Please link me to the said discussion on the ZMR thread.
It was discussed many times in the older posts of ZMA ownership thread. I just found one post here http://www.xbhp.com/talkies/motorcyc...tml#post750371
You may read few pages before and after this post.
    The thread is pretty informative.

You can check the ZMA thread where lots of similar instances are posted.
You may try cleaning the carb and see if it resolves the issue.

Whatever be the AFR setting, I don't think the bike will refuse to move past 6-6.5k RPM.
