First and foremost, did u fill it till the brim? If so, it s very natural for an extra 1~2 litres to be accomodated.

Yes, if u fill it till the neck, it ll take in a few more litres.Originally posted by chirunvv View PostIt took 14 lts from the pump and I had 2 Lts in reserve. so the total fuel tank capacity is 16 Lts, if we fill it to the brim?
In a Pulsar, the stated capacity is 15 litres, but i ve filled in even 18 litres many a times
, but it was full till the brim
So,chill,no wories about that.
BTW, few pumps have this auto cut-off feature. If u tell "Tankful" they engage a button and keep the dispenser into the tank, and take their hands away. It automatically detects when it reaches "Full" level and cuts off. This is the best method for filling fuel. And it does not fill upto the brim too. When everything comes ur way, u r in the wrong way ;)

Why do you want to take risks with these battries? If they leak, you will regret it...Originally posted by riazmomin View PostAFAIK...Sealed batteries are best to use.
Exactly Unsealed batteries are not that reliable and long lasting. But Manufacturers leave us with no choice

. Amaron is the only sealed Battery manufacturer and the battery with the CBZ-X self start config is not available in their catalogue
(I enquired with the Amaron distributor here in pune). So no choice so had to stick with Amco
.

Please dont go in for Amco. As I said, the stock battery leaked and has spolt the metal all around it and also the swingarm!!Originally posted by hegdeanoop View PostExactly Unsealed batteries are not that reliable and long lasting. But Manufacturers leave us with no choice

Amco and Exide are EVIL!
Try to get Base Terminal (Panasonic)... next best choice. I'm sure they have 7 Ah batts. I got it from Nana Peth. Should be available elsewhere too.
Another option is Tata Green.Last edited by Raccoon; 06-26-2009, 07:40 PM.

Today I went to get Iridium Plug for my Xtreme, But only came to Know that NGK does not have any Iridium made fro Xtreme, Unicorn, Achiver.
I have checked the NGK catalogue with the dealer, It doesnt mention about Iridium for the above 3 bikes.
Checked the website too.. http://ngkntk.in/two_wheelers.php?ma...l=CBZ+-+Xtreme
So, I ended up getting NGK G-Power for my Xtreme. There is slight improvement in Smoothness and Bike revs more freely now.

there is day and night difference in performance, no dc conversion the stock lighing coil is been rewinded and the stock regulator is being replaced with a bigger one.
I didn't feel much difference though apart from crisp starts."Engine tuning is not an exact science, but with some practice and patience you'll get comfortable with your skill and be able tune for any conditions mother nature throws at you"

Help Needed
Hello Friendz, one bad news, I parked my bike in office parking and due to some congested space the gate keeper tried to shift my bike a bit but ended in cracking the upper left switch cover of my bike

Now the pass signal button(I loved it) is not working properly as its holder near the switch is cracked+some broken. Any Suggestions will be highly appreciated....
