Instead of modifying an Rx100 i would suggest you to restore it in total stock condition, you can't achieve much by modifying an Rx, Rx looks beautiful and runs brilliantly if it's maintained properly.

Originally posted by sdasadhikari4 View Posti mean i want to put front disc, shocks and tyres etc. i don't want any modification in my engine and i want to convert my 6v to 12v.......for that which parts i need or most suitable and what'll be the price and where can i get them ???
For disc set up you can either go for Classic pulsar the one which came with single plug engine or gladiator disc setup, gladiator disc setup is direct fit, for rear shocks you can opt for pulsar nitox, for converting 6v to 12volt, there are two options which i know first one either you just change the RR, Flasher, Battery, and bulbs to 12volt, the second option which is also the right way(i feel) is to change the whole magnet assembly to 12volt, with it the CDI(12volt), RR, Flasher, Battery, and bulbs to 12volts, although this latter way will cost you some 5000/-rs, front disc setup of gladiator will cost you around 12000/-rs (not sure of the current price), all of the parts are available at yamaha authorised spare parts dealer, check out any nearby yamaha parts dealer and he should be able to get you the part, let me know if i can be of any help regarding the parts.

Re: Two strokes : (except Fury and RD350)
I don't think Yamaha showrooms sell parts for rx100.. if at all they will rip you.Originally posted by sdasadhikari4 View Postthanx....i'll go to yamaha showroom and ask them about the parts and price. if anything need i'll ask you
I have rebuilt my rx100 a few yrs ago in 2009, and prices since then have increased a lot. You need to find a local mechanic and sit with him to get it fixed up.
First post some pics so maybe we can take a look and recommend something, and first make a list of what needs to be repaired/replaced and then start hunting for parts.

Re: Two strokes : (except Fury and RD350)
You can search at Yamaha showroom also but look out for Yamaha authorised spare parts dealer other than showroom nearby your place, as this way you can also get some discount, showroom guys can also get you the parts but then they will sell you the parts on the list price which gets expensive, and restoring any piece of history is expensive, lastly if we leave one or two items 99% parts of Rx100 is available and will remain available in coming years.Originally posted by sdasadhikari4 View Postthanx....i'll go to yamaha showroom and ask them about the parts and price. if anything need i'll ask you

Re: Two strokes[100cc-135cc]
Hey guys I'm new here on xbhp and am so thrilled to be here.
I own a rx135 2002 model 4gear.
I just finished restoring it back to stock but few days after the restaurant the gear peddle stopped springing back into the middle position. If I shift up the lever stays up and I need to tap it to bring it down to middle position. I need some advice as to what this issue may be because of. Is it the spring on the inside that is broken or is the peddle just not mounted properly.
I'll upload some pictures tomorrow

Re: Two strokes[100cc-135cc]
Hi everyone,
I was itching to buy an RX 100 for the last 6 months in Kolkata, but din not find a suitable machine till last week.
I found this bike on sale at a website. It looked awesome. Bargained for 2 days and finally got the bike.
About the bike:-
Rx 100
Colour :- black
Year:- 1995
Milage:- 36k kmtrs.
Condition:- did not expect as good as this at this price.
Original engine blocks and piston. Totally untouched engine. Minor issues are there with the electricals and switch gear so planned to change the total wiring harness and switch gear.
I really hate the rocket exhaust fitted, asked the owner to provide the original exhaust which he agreed to.
I have a few questions regarding some drawbacks.
1) What do I need to do for a set of HID projector ?
2) Will a laser iridium tip spark plug help?
3) Can I put tubeless radials in the existing rim?
4) Can I add on a 5 th gear and what shall be the consequences?
Thanks in advance. Please do reply and suggest with respect to my location ie. Kolkata. Will upload pics shortly.
