      Present saar. . .

      Rx-135 4 speed...full stock engine.
the bike could have used better brakes as factory fitment.

            Ownership Exp
I am owning an RX since april 2007, felt in love at first sight after seeing him,in matter of 6hrs he was there in my hands. engine was seized once got the engine rebuilt done changed the complete fork set up to new,and nothing more to tell about he has turned into a dream ride nowadays.

            Pre and post modifications

Changed those skinny tvs tyres to Zapper fs 2.75*18 Moto D 3.00*18, changed the clutch and brake levers to Ybx type. swapped the old chrome mud guard to rx z one's, changed the indicators to the old type ones coz the new indicators stay are not available nad more over they suck big time.

            Some intial snaps

            Exhaust upgrade

Changed to legendary Rx 100 silencer, removed all muffler caps and running a free flow one now, didn't like the round catalyic silencer much

            Cdi upgrade

No cdi conversion just a cdi upgrade to RD cdi, this is the latest conversion the bike has seen.

            Light coil upgradation..

Coil rewinded to 60/55w and changed the head lamp assembly to swaraj mazda one's bulb used halonix 60/55w.

            Rim conversion

No such stupid mods yet, i am not really a lover of rim conversions and no offence to anyone who have done it already.

            Disc brake upgrade.

Till now never felt that the bike needs a disc brake, drums brake are doing good job as of now.

            Some latest snaps ..

I guess that was an awesome write up with the B'ful pics..

But dont you think that the original 135 exhaust wa much better, this wud have given you a power boost..
The one we own here gives us a small problem as you know..today's bike have CV type carb where as this contains BS one..When we are running bike on high speeds or we revv it hard it slide goes back.. and does not come back..
              a small problem..

Thanks, i find my self more conveincing with an Rx 100 silencer rather than a catylic one, i hate cat cons and love free flows ..

I had a Yamaha RXZ 2000 which when i bought was few of the last pieces left in the showroom and after that it went out of production.
I had put alloy wheels in it. The bike was a performer but the engine was not as long lasting as RX100 only 18000 kms i had to get partial makeover. Piston rings used to give 50 kmpl after that 105 kmph top speed. Had many accidents with it. Sold it in 2003. I regret that decision of mine.
Never upgrade without getting your basics RIGHT.
