you are right .. it is better not to spend our hard earned money on something and having sleepless nights .. i can assure you yamaha service and customer support is one of the worst i have ever seen .. once the bike starts having any issue .. it is next to impossible to get it fixed .. they can surely add to your list of issues though

yes bro .. many people have reported .. if you call yamaha they'll react like you are the first person in the world having an issue with a yamaha bike

The sound is fine no need to worry just use some good quality oils which also improves the clunky gear shits & smoothen the engine refinement. Really i didnt hear any major and abnormal sounds as i said Fz 2.0 engine is some what noisy thats it. But that 250 sounds as some thing broken inside actually i planned to buy that thing but after watching many reviews and videos on you tube i dropped my plan[emoji1].
You should try 2019 pulsar 220 or if u like Japanese bikes then, wait for gixxer 250!

I don't understand why yamaha has not rectified this issue. Previously on v 1 this was not present. Fz v1 has a smooth engine firing sound [emoji4][emoji7]

Just ride the bike. It should reduce after some 6-7k kms.

Yes bro I also believe engine oil should solve the issue .. because if there were an issue with the engine .. it should happen when it is cold as well .. i just want to try yamalube fs once .. if that doesn't solve .. i'll try emailing yamaha for a confirmation to switch brands

what i think is in case of v1 the issue was not this widespread .. and it didn't happen this early .. the videos i saw on youtube .. the guys have done 1000s of kms .. but in case of the 2018 and 2019 models .. it starts very early

even i have gotten my tappets adjusted during my 3rd service.. but issue still persists

i have started to ignore the sound and enjoy my ride.. though i'll be changing the engine oil to yamaha fs in my next service.. as i feel the mineral oil i currently am using is getting overheated pretty fast
