Hmm, I've heard some FZ v2 producing this sound. Not all of them do that though. Perhaps it's related to the valve clearances/CCT/oil.

The same sound exists in the Fazer 250 (Brazil)/XT250/XTZ250/XT225/Serow 250, which have similar/same engines.

However, it's not normal in the 150cc FZ range.

I have heard complaints from only the 2018 fz and now 2019 fz v3 owners.. check these vids:-
    1. https://youtu.be/xY_3m9d9vvU
this guy uprgraded to the 300v after getting fed up of overheating engine, hard gear shifts and in his words "kirrr kirrr" sound from the engine.. he has the 2018 v2.. same as mine
    2. https://youtu.be/7-zMMMuAN5k

he has the v3 and same issue described by him.. video reported here by fellow member #bpk

previously i wasnt able to describe the sound.. i named it "trrr trrr".. but when i saw the fz25 forum and members mentioning the coin rattling sound.. i immediately related my issue with it.. it exactly sounds like a coin is rattling inside the engine.. the sound is very low when engine is cold.. but as soon as it gets heated the sound increases.. and is higher in upper rpms..

i also closely listened to some videos where a user has shown the coin rattling sound in his fz25.. mine sounds exactly the same.. example:-

thanks bro.. I'll give it a try then..

Like i said you can try LIQUIMOLY Fs oils also they are imported from germany and the oil provides outstanding engine protection & the gear shifts become buttery smooth, Refinement levels increases in the fz.
They also have different types of additives for bikes which are very much worth for a try.

For small engines semi synthetic oil is enough. You can try shell semi synthetic 10w40 or motul 7100, 10w 40 oil if you wish.
