Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
To this part of the country, coldest is the December and no issues faced with cold starts also. BTW running on NGK G-Power since almost the beginning.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Some instances like stuck valve, worn carb slides, dead battery (end of life) includes in that 1%. Don't like decimels [emoji13]Originally posted by sayanchakraborty89 View PostI have a intensely interesting phenomenon in this regard. It does come alive and stays warm 99% of the times. For the rest 1%, the engine dies and you are in for a wild time ahead.
The thing is, after a 3 or 4 days out in the winter, if accidentally it doesn't catch the first spark, it just doesn't want to start anymore.
Any light on this?

Both are same hardware-wise.Originally posted by Bismaya View PostYeah, that's what I wanted to confirm (whether someone has taken a test ride of it or not). There were some battery issues from what I had heard (on rear disc variant FZ-S). Might as well just go with the normal FZ-Fi with rear drum. Best version and minimal if you ask me.

Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
I also have the double disc variant and haven't faced any starting issues .. but like you have heard that DD has battery issues .. I saw a person with rear drum having battery issues at the SVC .. his bike was not that old .. i think a year old .. and his battery was dead .. i asked him why .. he said he didn't use the bike for like 15 days and now the battery is dead .. so i think everybody has different experiences .. you can go with what majority of the people are saying .. personally i would go with a bike having FI with no kick rather than a carb bike with a kickOriginally posted by Bismaya View PostYeah, that's what I wanted to confirm (whether someone has taken a test ride of it or not).
