Re: Yamaha FZ-16/ FZ-S
Has anyone here tested the 2018 FZ V2 FI (with the kick starter)? I'm sort of inclined to buying since the Unicorn 160 got discontinued and the I'm not a fan of the xBlade.

Every 600kms you have to clean the chain and lube it.Originally posted by vanp View PostI bought the RC out of excitement but later realized it was not my cup of tea.. so sold it .. I needed a commuter bike .. didn't want to spend much .. wanted a machine which could serve me years to come with minimum maintenance .. test rode the FZS and Apache 160 .. fell in love with the FZ and went Yamaha this time .. what I have realized is Japanese bikes are playing in a different league ..
I dont think there is a wheel alignment problem since this thing is there from the very beginning .. chain is being lubricated on time .. I have got it lubricated twice from the service center .. 1st was during the first service and 2nd was a few weeks ago .. I have a Michelin digital gauge to monitor the tyre pressure and I check it regularly .. now remaining thing is drive chain .. and maybe any part of the bike which might be vibrating? what do you suggest?
Thanks for taking the time for helping me

For vibrations check the drive chain, lubricate it within proper intervals, check tyre pressure and check rear wheel alignment.

Which one was your previous bike?Originally posted by vanp View PostHey guys
.. I bought an FZS-FI DD variant a couple of months ago .. I ride my bike very less often .. haven't completed 1000 kms yet .. I am having an issue from the very beginning .. though not a big issue but still thought of asking the experts .. my bike vibrates at 4k rpm .. this happens on all the gears .. the vibes are felt on the handle bar .. and as soon as the bike crosses 4k rpm .. the vibes are gone and cannot be felt further .. these vibes are very noticeable .. but they don't happen if the bike is stand still .. only while moving .. at first i thought that since the bike is new .. these issues will be ironed out during run in .. i followed the run in period very religiously .. still following it .. but the 4k vibes are still intact .. does anyone have a clue why this happens .. thanks in advance guys
