The strainer should be cleaned proactively every two oil changes for better innards. There is a lot left to answer for better clarity. An engine seizure can happen not only due to clogged filter, but also improper oil change interval, less than optimum oil level, crappy oil that's been topped up, so the variables are out there. But, a blocked strainer plays a big part as most of the oil gets filtered through the strainer before it goes the oil filter. It's basically like a Pulsar 220 strainer, you need to remove the clutch case, pull the strainer out right below the oil pump, get it cleaned and slide it back in, that's it.

    Cheers!

You can get a aftermarket one from mukut brand. No idea about the quality, but its 3000 bucks.

Chain sprocket price has come down to 1600 rupees.

Honda has stopped servicing CBR 250R in their normal service centres and service only in BigWing. Parts orders also through BigWing only.

I thought the same, because AFAIK, that is the only friction-generating spare that I need to replace, all other spares got replaced already.

Plan to replace the same with Nearby Mechanic support... (No budget for Honda Service Labour)

Just suggesting, anything that has to do with electricals, you should buy brand new. A new 250r speedometer will cost you around Rs. 5700 and labour around Rs. 800

^ this is assuming you have got the crux of the issue fixed. Because if your RR unit is overcharging the battery, it will burn the console motherboard again at some point if not immediately.

Let me know via DM in case you need help buying a new speedo console.

Need to check the Mounting bolts, will update here after that fix....

Note: Chain Sprocket Set was changed before 45 days... After that only I noted this much vibrations...
Immediately I asked the Service Manager, he said it will take time to settle after few KMS....
Is Wheel Bearings or Wheel alignment or (Improper chain fixing direction like markings in Tyres, if any) ...The culprit??

    Update:
I thought the side stand was gone but when I took it to the Honda service center, they noticed that the chassis is bent - due to loading heavy stuff on top of the bike while transporting.

The mechanic suggested to heat up that part of the chassis and straighten it a bit. But, I am not sure if that part will be able to sustain the load of the bike in the future. The other solution is a new chassis which will cost Rs 13k (10k part cost + 3k labour) - I may be able to claim insurance and get a new chassis since my insurance covers damages over road transport.

Has anyone faced a similar issue before? What should I do?
Regarding chassis, my 2011 model costs around 20k, please confirm a out the price.
Also, if you plan to clain insurance for the chassis you will get a new chassis number from the company and you have to go through RTO formalities to get a new RC and update all other bike related documents like insurance.

If done without insurance then the showroom will punch the old number onto the new blank frame.

If can perhaps be due to a tighter than normal chain slack or engine oil grade that isn't for the liking of the engine or loose engine foundation bolts, so on and so forth. Start off with the foundation bolts and chain slack and see if it helps. I hope it's not too late of a reply though. Good luck.

What must be rooted out is, why your board burnt in the first place. A burnt board would mean usually over charging, which directly relates to a faulty RR. A faulty RR in the CBR250 is the last thing one can have, it will wipe out all the sensitive electronic components of your CBR. Get your charging voltage rectified first, then look for another meter. If you use a new meter with this faulty charging condition, chances are high that your new meter would go kaboom in a matter of time.

Yup, everything is rectified and I can't find a used speedometer. Hence the post.

And exhaust sounds slightly more bassy then before.
