And as quietly as a Ninja, Kawasaki has launched the new 2015 Ninja 650. No mechanical changes. Changes are to rear shock, now in mean green (yuck!), colour format on the fairing, 650 sticker instead of Ninja 650 sticker and white Ninja sticker on tank (like 300).

This is the best paint scheme for the 650, that matt black tank was a eye sore.

Those green accented shocks also looks a bit weird, but not that bad i think.

Yes, it was done to seal the borders so that it doesn\\\'t comes off while washing and cleaning. But I think it could have been done more neatly.

Asked few experts for the touch up but they suggested against it so went for the complete wrap up of the tank in matte finish. Hopefully it will save it from any future scratches too.
Can you please post pics of the wrap? Thanks.

    Sorry for poor quality pic.
either a small /design matte black or any other vinyl patch else some matte black paint and some touch up and then buff it off once it dries. will gradually jel in

Oh that seems like a scratch on the heart, try using a rubbing compound or the scratch remover pen might be that will help or you have to repaint the whole tank..

Dont think you have a choice if the paint has come off and it is not a surface scratch. You will either need to repaint the tank or do a complete wrap. alternate is to use a simple sticker to cover the scratches.
