Zmr- n250- n650..coolOriginally posted by rreneav1987 View PostBought myself a used 2014 Ninja 650 last month!!
Wonderful experience! Just returned from a 6 day and 2100 km ride on her!!
She amuses me every time! Upgrade from Ninja 250 to Ninja 650!!
Though the N250 still stays with me!! I havent sold the bike!
The N250 is definitely better at eargasm than the N650! Infact the N650 feels too silent compared to N250! But that raw power and torque [emoji7][emoji7][emoji7][emoji7][emoji7]

Re: Ninja 650R - Ownership Thread
The Bajaj Kawasaki split is confirmed for sales. So henceforth the Ninja 250, 300 & 650 will be sold via the showrooms which sell the bigger bikes like Z800, Ninja 1000 etc. For instance the new 2017 Ninja 650 is being displayed at the dedicated Kawasaki dealership here in Pune. Assembly of the smaller capacity bikes continue at Bajaj's Akurdi plant. What is yet to be decided is whether the service of the smaller capacity bikes continue at the probiking outlets or move to dedicated Kawasaki service centers. Perhaps this issue will get ironed out in a couple of months.Originally posted by kanth View PostI actually got my bike serviced at Auto Service in BSK 2nd stage for its 2nd service and I asked the service manager there about the Bajaj-Kawa split in April and he said that the new service center for Kawasaki was coming up near Peenya, not sure how much right it was and also mentioned that they themselves were coming up with a new service center exclusive for Kawasaki opposite to their existing one, so that way they can retain their Kawasaki customers and service KTM and Bajaj bikes at the existing one, how much is going to happen is yet unknown, but I certainly saw the opposite place where there was an old house being demolished and signs of new construction happening....fingers crossed...
By the way, do we need to change oil and oil filter at every service, as the manual states every alternate service, these guys insisted upon changing it every 6k KMS as they don't want to take risk with it due to the dust factor in our country compared to Euro-American conditions.

A new showroom has opened in Chandigarh last month, a new service centre is opening in Bangalore, and hopefully in majority of major cities. But I have no idea about tier 2 cities with smaller Ninjas. I hope it gets better

The next two months might be a little difficult for Kawa owners to source parts and service as well. On-going discussion for extending service alone at KTM is also ongoing. Cheers.
