    I think most of Hero bikes share these cables so the ones of Hero Xtreme/ Hunk/ Achiever might fit the Impulse...


    Also never did I face problem for getting the clutch cable for my Impulse...

    Looks like the same. Here in pune they give similar sprocket of Hero Hunk or CBZ. Confirm with local dealer or authorized SC for the teeth count.

    Acerbis hand guards are universal fit. No problem at all. For handlebar, check Amazon or any local dealer for good deal.

    And out of the blue front disc started to make a squeaking sound today. 1000kms on the ODO ( 20days post purchasing) and this got me thinking. Opened the master cylinder and found the oil level below the minimum mark. Another SVC's shitty job and ill maintainence. Im getting a brake oil bottle tomorrow.
    Also im wondering to get the bike serviced and maintained at a local friend's workshop hereon.

For anyone who's lived / traveled abroad, you know well that when everyone follows this, it actually works SO well, and night-time can actually be the most pleasant / safe time to drive - yes, even with stock lighting, even on unlit country roads. I have had a hard time understanding why the average vehicle operator in India fails to grasp this reality, which seems obvious / common-sense to the citizens of the rest of the world (incl. poor, uneducated, developing, whatever).

    Agreed totally.
    I never use my aux lights in city in any way.
    But only when I go on tour like 600+ kms who doesn't need more light on highways.. Where oncoming local jeeps and bus drivers drives recklessly.

    In March changed the rear tire second time in the bikes 50,000Km odd journey... replacing the awesome Pirelli MT60 with Ceat Vertigo Sport(downsized from 110 to 100)


    While doing R&D on which tire will suit my bike came across the dreaded fact that the tire sizes are not that common in the market anymore which brought to my mind a question of whether we can convert Impulse to a SuperMoto bike with some grippy road tires mounted on sleek Alloys (hate tubed tires with punctures being pain in @$$)

    Hey Guys,

    I am from Pune & an owner of impulse for past 2 years.

    Have been going through threads since the start and have reached till page 52 before I felt "Impulsive" to post/ask before I could go through all the threads.

    Is there a WhatsApp group or something similar where the conversations are more "realtime"? Will be nice to know if I could be part of it hopefully to get some help with regards to the spares availability & also to join in on some rides.

    Looking forward in anticipation.
