Did 250Km tour with this new setup in cold morning must say the windshield did its work well and even helped with aerodynamics of bike as the accelerations seems to be little brisk with the wind blast now not much of an issue...
Good work! Looking functional... Do share the pics of it in side profile (in daydlight will be good). I own a black 2013 Impulse.

yes true, while I myself got a used one recently, my mechanic told that these bikes are already registered on someones name ( from dealer) and then they will sell you as second..if you are die hard fan and want at any cost....honestly in local market I met so many people who have not even heard about the model Impulse..

    Lol. Thanks.

I have nothing to lose if OP buys something else.
Any way I won’t cross check or validate or give an appraisal based on that.

I don’t want my friends to suffer down the line for the choices they make, so gave a rational suggestion. If at least I could suggest a good choice, they could think wisely and take a decision on the same.

Often there are times in life where we believe we have no other Choice. I’m just giving a mere suggestion to highlight better available Choices. Let the OP decide what he wants.

The price can be bargained down I guess cause the other day I valuated my bike which has everything working and was quoted ₹35k so you should bargain hard and get it for much lower...

And yes spares are difficult to get the only saving grace being that most engine parts are shared with the Honda 150cc mill so we can get them somewhat easily (as I presume no idea about reality )

    Haha!

Well, going by the buzz and anticipation around this particular bike at least, hopefully Hero gets its act together and rolls this out to the market soon.

    Hope!

    Cheers

Is the bigger Impulse finally ready for production?

Couldn't wait for a couple of more hours until they unveil it at the EICMA [emoji14]

Looking for any help from you guys-tried 2-3 hero dealers also but no clutch cables with them ..
    Hi,

Not sure if you're still looking. Since you feel Dazzler's cable could fit, try finding the cable of Honda Trigger. They both share a LOT of parts.

Or you could call up the nearby service stations (or visit) and ask them which of the bike's cable fits yours.

    Cheers

Few parts were missing and oh boy Karizma parts are also hard to find in the Hero spares shop here in Siliguri. The engine grunts and feels better than the stock 150 engine. Its done about 600 kms now and I love the surge in power. Took it for a 350 kms ride yesterday. Highway cruising was done at 5,000 rpm, 5th gear, 75 kmph. Didn't want to push it yet. My black Impulse has a front 15 T sproket from Hero Xtreme and the top speed is only 95 kmph (pillion and luggage). This Red bike has 17 T on it so it should go faster.

I have a problem with the 225 cc engine. It gives a shrill noise while decelerating. I have heard from mechanics that the clutch gives that noise if its a bad after market product. Is it the only place from where that sound can come? Please help.
