Reason 1: There is no way, absolutely no way you can convert a tube-type (TT) tyre to a tube-less (TL) tyre without setting yourself up for the biggest crash of your life. There is a reason why the manufacturer has labelled the tyre TT. The construction and materials used are different than a TL tyre, and obviously the costs are different as well.
Reason 2 : This idea could have been less foolish if you had alloys (TL type rims) on. The stock spoked wheels are NOT intended for TL tyres (which again you do not have, as you have converted TT for use as TL) except on certain BMW bikes and aftermarket rims, in which that wheel would probably cost more than an Impulse.
Please research the safety of your mods, especially before putting them up on the forum and encouraging other members to do the same. You surely do not want to be blamed for someone else's crash.
On the other hand, certain gels can be used inside the TUBE to hold out for a while despite punctures, at least till you get to the puncture repair shop.

Just out of curiousity, how do u plan to put a tubeless tyre on a spoke rim? Well I have not converted it to tubeless yet, but planning to, however will do a hell lotsa reasearch on it n i had converted tt to tl on my caliber 115. Worked well for 2 years, sold the bike after that. The thought of converting to TL on caliber came in my mind when i was at 80kmph n the rear TT got punctured, the bike fishtailed like hell, thanks to my guardian angel, i dint crash.
I guess i should stop advising people for mods as i dont want anyone to get hurt due to me. Sorry guys.

Guys can you list best ASCs in mumbai here for impulse. I went for first two services to fort point mahim. Not a satisfactory experience with them. They will cheat you by not changing engine oil, will ask for extra money for lubing chain with spray gel though they even don't know what lube sprays are available in market and hero guys have not produced any spray like TVS for their motorbikes yet. Big time cheaters. Next time i might try vikhroli ASC.

All the ASCs will try to squeeze money out of u till free service period ends. I was also told 125/- charge for "Greasing" the chain. I told him it will attract dirt n further hurt chain n sprocket, might as well just oil with gear oil if u have it. Also, I have question. Does Impulse tend get hot even on short drives? I can feel gentle breeze of hot air on my shins while riding. Is that a problem???

Yes I feel that heat too. Sometimes too much heat that u wont feel like riding especially in bumper to bumper traffics. Some others riders from this thread also felt that heat. Service center guys didnt know the cost but I checked on web, it costs 3499/- but if get it fabricated it will cost only around 8-900 including welding charges.

buying -3,500 & building own - 1000 (approx)
then who cares to buy. we can build our own. i have a welding shop near my place so i guess dat wont be a big issue......
