Both are radials, both are good tires. Go for the ones you get the best deal at. The current gen Metzeler too lasts a little longer, i.e. the front.

I'd suggest to try the Apollo.

      Cheers!

      The girl said, 'NO!'

And the guy lived happily ever after and rode motorcycles and watched sport on a big screen TV, went fishing and surfing, and played golf a lot, and drank beer and scotch and had tons of money in the bank and left the toilet seat up and farted whenever he wanted.

Is it advisable to get throttle body cleaned? I went o SVC and their first reaction is it can't be done. They are insisting on getting it replaced and cleaning will result in jerking issues.

I'm having donuts since they are just not willing to clean it.

Jerking issues in fact will be solved by cleaning the throttle body if it hasn't been cleaned for more than 10k plus kms. The SVC will insist on getting things replaced because it's quick money and lesser headache of trouble shooting, unless they have found some genuine fault in your throttle body that's worth replacing. If your TB is good, performs good and just needs cleaning, then go ahead.

            Cheers!

The guy was reluctant to clean it right from the word go. In fact he said he had already cleaned mine two weeks ago [emoji23] which I'm not sure what he was talking about. I'm fine to get it cleaned outside of SVC if they are not willing to.

Honestly my bike is over 1lac km and it's has started demanding few changes. I haven't got TB cleaned ever.

That's a new forum record. It's high time you get it cleaned, and thoroughly. Cleaning the throttle body restores the performance of the bike big time, along with the other demanding changes.

                Cheers!

Went to indimotard in blr for a full service of the duke. They informed the shaft which holds the front sprocket is compromised. KTM SVC says all is fine. Dont know who to believe.

Are you not able to install the sprocket? What is the trouble you are facing and why did they come to the conclusion that your front sprocket is compromised?

And the biggest change is the emission controls. For 10k more, seems like a reasonable amount.

I went to them with the issue of delayed pickup in the first 3 gears and a lot of noise thats coming from the front sprocket area.

From what I can infer here, either your front sprocket has worn excessively causing play or your output shaft itself is worn due to a combination of worn sprocket and its clearances must have been out. But a new front sprocket will yield us better insights, if the sprocket fits and is able to be tightened. If replacing the front sprocket solves the issue, then you're all set. If you still have issue, then we have to dig a little deeper. I think there is a cheap alternate to the front sprocket of Duke 200 with that of a Pulsar 220/Avenger 220.

                            Good luck.

                            Cheers!

Yesterday night, i saw a oil leak in my duke 200 rear suspension.
Is there any fix or should i change whole rear mono shock?

Also i heard dominor mono shock is better fix for KTM since it is gas filled. Any views on this?

If you find oil leak from your rear monoshock, it's time to replace the rear shocker. There is no repair that can be done to a leaky rear shocker. I am not sure on the Domi's rear shocker, but I did remember reading that 200 NS shocker being used for KTM, not sure about its veracity.

                                Cheers!
