Do we specifically have to tell the SVC guys what to change? I was hoping they did everything as required

Have a quick glance at your owners' manual. If it says 10k intervals, then stick to it even if the mech says its ok.
In future if god forbid you have to avail some part coverage under warranty, these SVC fellows are the first ones to deny your claims stating that you didn't get the parts replaced on time. Trust me, you can do little at that time except getting pissed off.

If your air filter is paper type, then 10k is the limit and if viscous then 15k at most. But it would be mentioned in your manual.

Seems pretty normal. In my bike it goes down 5-10psi in 2-3 weeks (mainly the front tyre).

How long does air usually stay in your bikes? Mine goes down pretty quickly. Like 3 PSI in 2-3 weeks

    Hi,
Does anyone know the cost of 2+3 years extended warranty (honda shield) for my cbr150.
Currently my bike is 6 months old and 7.5k on odo.

Also, what is the service interval after 2 years standard warranty, if i opted for honda shield??

Then that has to be the 2016 model because there's no other CBR 150R that I'm aware of!

I had seen and had been invited to buy this (or something that looks close to this) in the March of 2016, when I went to buy a 2012 model at Autofin Honda, Himayatnagar, Hyderabad. It had 2 headlamps (like Fazers and R15s) and a seperated elevated tail (again like R15 v2.0) I was not impressed by.

I know that this version is neither on the website nor any announcements were made about it. Please let me know if anyone else had seen this. I would be very delighted if anyone can check with the ASC for the same.

If yes, that would be the 2015 Indonesian model.
Again, the picture attached is picked from the internet and not clicked by me. :P

I do judge by tyre wear but always use the centre portion of the tyre as my point of reference. I always end up with chicken stripes, and it's actually because I chicken out when the corners start getting sharp. I'm either afraid of falling and ruining the ride, or scraping my AGVSport knee guards that I recently bought for 3k (yes, that is a good amount to me), so I play a bit too safe, every time.
I just want to save up and buy a racing suit with the knee sliders and start killing corners like nobody's business. But it'll take a while to get there even after I get the suit. After all, safety is my first concern.

Here's a few pictures of what it looks like after ~21k kilometers (covered in 1 year and 3 months approx.) which is somewhat comprised of 80% good highways and roads (with the occasional potholes that I always managed to hit), 17% decent but dusty 'kachha' roads, and 3% crappy gravel paths.

P.S. it may currently have a puncture or two as it loses around 4-5 PSI in a week (200-300 kms approx) but apart from this I've never had a puncture in this tyre ever since I purchased it.
When I had the rim-bending incident, I had to ride some 50 odd kilometers back home and 10 more kilometers to the service center the next day, all on an almost flat front tyre (the air escaped through the bent portion of the rim). I was afraid it'd give way and tear somewhere, but since I had no choice, I had to take the risk. And it is still going strong. If I wasn't the kind of person to try upgrading tyres on my bike whenever I change them, I would definitely plan on purchasing this tyre again in the future when it is due for replacement. But I want to try and see if I can get a better Michelin/Pirelli tyre of the same size (don't want to add to the speedo error or take any other risks by installing a tyre of a different size). Cheers, ride hard, ride safe.
